Annabeth PoV:
I dont know why I was avoiding Percy I guess I was just embarrassed about what happened the other day. His eyes lit up every time he saw me but I just turned away and walked in the other direction. I thought I was doing a pretty good job until I got on the bus Thursday afternoon.
"Annabeth we need to talk." Percy said pulling me down into the seat with him "Why have you been avoiding me?" He asked with a hurt look in his eyes. I replied with a shrug, trying to avoid his eyes.
"Annabeth Im serious did I do something to hurt you?" He said
"You didn't do anything Percy." I sighed
"Good, now whats bothering you?" He asked
"I just dont want you to get hurt if Luke sees you with me there's no telling what he'll do." I said
"I already told you Annabeth Im not going to let him hurt either of us." He said "hey why dont you come the football game tonight with me?" He asked with a smile.
"Sure seaweed brain." I said
