Chapter 21 "Struggles of Starting Over"

*Kelsey's POV*

Today I have to meet the band thats opening for me I thinks their call 5 minutes of spring? No that's not it. 5 hours of Summer? Nope.5 Seconds of Summer? Yeah that's it! I really hope their music's good.

I decided to take a shower since I have an hour until their plane lands.

After my shower I blew dry my hair leaving it natural and applied a small coat of mascara and lip balm.

I then slipped on my favourite red All Time Low singlet, black leggings, my jean jacket with a hoodie combined and my new white Dr. Martins that Aunt Maddie got me.

I checked the time it said 9:30 so I grabbed my bag with my iPhone and head phones and headed out the door.

*at the airport*

By the times got there it was 9:45 so I quickly bought some Starbucks with the gift card from Cher.

After I got my caramel frap I waited at the gate.

A couple of minutes past and people were exciting the gate I kept an eye out until I saw 4 boys coming towards me.

..: "are you Kelsey Daniels?"a boy bleach blond hair asked

K: "yes and you boys are?"

..: "I'm Michael"said the bleach blond one

...: "Calum"said an Asian looking boy

..: "Luke Hemmings"smiled a cute blond boy

..: "I'm Ashton and we are"

All: "5 Seconds of Summer"they said in unison

K: "wait Ashton an in Ashton Irwin?"I asked

A: "the one and only"

K: "no fucking way!"I yelled

K: "this can't be happening"I groaned

A: "what?"

K: "ughhh!"

M: "what's wrong?"

K: "nothing"I sighed

A: "no there is something wrong"

K: "it's nothing! Do you have a hotel or no?"

They shook their heads no.

K: "follow me then"I sighed leading them into Aunt Maddie's car

I sat in the drivers seat and Ashton sat beside me.

'Someone help me'i thought to myself

K: "you guys like Sleeping With Sirens?"I asked

L: "yes!"he cheered

K: "good or I would of killed you"I chuckled

I plugged my phone playing If You Can't Hang.

C: "you have great taste in music"

K: "thanks"I smiled

Once we got home I helped them with their bags.

K: "2 share a room"

L: "Calum!"

M: "Ashton!"they called

I lead them into a room.

K: "so how about we get to know each other outside"

I lead them to the back yard grabbing my laptop and phone with me just incase.

It got a little warmer which is weird because its winter so because I still had my bruises and scars I just unbuttoned my jacket.

L: "you like all time low?"

K: "oh my god I love them!"

M: "who's your favourite?"he raised an eyebrow

K: "hands down Alex!"

They laughed and smiled.

C: "tell us more about yourself"

K: "well I was born here with my mum and dad now I'm with my Aunt Maddie. At about age 14 I moved to Sydney Australia until I turned 16 I moved back to Manchester after the school year ended. When I got here my Aunt decided for me to join the X Factor as well as my mum"

A: "where's your mum"

K: "she passed"I said quietly

A: "I'm sorry"

I shrugged.

K: "oh yeah and my best friend is Jake Bell!"I cheered

A: "wait Jake Bell?"he said in disbelief

K: "yeah why?"

A: "I used to go to school with him"

K: "I know that"

A: "how?"

K: "because I used to go to school with you too"I stood up grabbing my laptop and phone and walked upstairs slamming my door locking it

*Ashton's POV*

A: "shit"I muttered

C: "what just happened?"

I explained everything that happened back in high school.

M: "why would you do that!" He yelled

A: "I don't know"

L: "that's just fucked up Ashton"

A: "I know"

C: "well you better fix this or she might kick us out of the tour!"

A: "okay I'll try"

I walked to her room knocking on her door.

K: "go away"she sniffled

A: "it's Ashton can you let me in?"I asked calmly

She sighed and unlocked the door.

K: "what do you want Ashton?"

A: "I just wanna explain everything"

K: "fine"she let me in

K: "I'm listening"

A: "okay I'm sorry for what I've done but I just want you to know that I've changed I'm a good person now I swear"

K: "how do I know if you're lying or not?"

A: "trust me."he sighed.

K: "how? After all you've done"

I stayed quiet.

She's right. I've put her in so much pain how can she even believe a single word I say?

K: "why did you do it Ashton?"she sighed.

A: "I-I don't know really I-"I stuttered but she cut me off

K: "what have I ever done to you huh?!"she raised her voice

A: "nothing! I just had problems when I came to you!"

K: "unbelievable. did you even know what I was going through?!?"

A: "can please just give me a chance?"

K: "if you want it you have to prove it"she stated

A: "and I will"
