When I let go, I walked towards the kitchen with Zander following behind me. "You want something to drink?"

"Yeah sure. What you got?"

"Uhh. . . Regular Coke, Pepsi, Raspberry iced tea, and water."

As he thought about it, I could see the wheels turning in his head. It was quite funny. "I'll have a Coke I guess." he said. So I threw him a can, shaking it a little, but he didn't seem to care. "Thanks," and without thinking he opened it and it exploded in his face. That made me crack up laughing. I was laughing so hard I almost fell on the ground. "Oh you think its funny do you?" he asked having an expression that was a tie between daring and amusement.

"You know what, I do. I think it's funny." I said. As I started saying it, a thought ran through my head. What's the worst that could happen? He tries getting it all over you? I considered it for a moment. Nah, he wouldn't. . . But sure enough... Splash! He did.

I looked at him, turning my head slowly toward him. "You really want to start this my friend?" I had an devilish smile tugging at my lips.

"On second thought maybe not. . . . I'll be right back...." and he walked off towards the restroom. I heard him turn on the sink I was wondering what he was doing. After 10 minutes, out of nowhere, I got shot with water in the back. I turned around and I saw that he had my super soaker water gun from the hall closet in his hands.

I turned around and he knew that he was in for it. "Oh you're so on!" I said running to my room to get my water gun. When I got up there I locked the door and went to fill it up. I heard him come up the stairs and I pumped the gun and went to the door. I slowly unlocked the door and as soon as I opened the door I sprayed whoever was there. When I stopped I realized that it wasn't Zander. It was my best friend Jackie. "Oh hey.... What's up?" I asked her, looking slightly guilty.

"Uh... hi. What the hell are you guys doing? Zander let me in and then ran off saying that he was on a mission or some crazy shit like that." she said.

"Oh, where did he go?!" I asked.

"Right here bitch!" he came out of nowhere and sprayed me all over. He stopped and was laughing so hard I thought he was going to die. I raised my gun and pointed it at him. When he went to shoot me again and pulled the trigger, nothing came out. "Oh, shit. . ."

I smiled deviously and sprayed him all around the house. Jackie gave up trying to stop us and she just sat on the couch and played Xbox. When my gun finally ran out of water, I went up to him and held out my hand. "Truce?"

He took it and we shook hands. "Truce," he said before pulling me into a hug.

"You never were one for handshaking, were you?" I asked curiously.

He smiled and shook his head. "No, no I wasn't. It droves some people crazy for a while."

"I wasn't one of those people," I said. When I was in his arms, I felt safe. I felt complete, and it felt right where I belonged. I was more than a little sad when he let go, but I didn't let it show. I went and sat next to Jackie then joined her when she started her next round on Gears of War 2, horde mode.

It's funny listening to Jackie play these types of games. She curses at the TV, yells at the guys she's trying to kill, but when she dies... lets just say you don't want to be in a 2 mile radius of her. When we reached wave (round) 50 and beat it, we turned it off.

Suddenly there was this growl coming from what must have been both of our stomachs. We looked at each other and nodded at the same time, getting off the couch. I went and got the phonebook while pulling out my phone. Almost forgetting I called out to Zander, "Hey! Pizza ok with you?!"

"Uh,sure!" he called back.

I opened the book and found our favorite place to get it from. "Get the usual Jackie," I told her as she dialed the number.

While she took care of that, I walked out and sat on the bench swing on the porch. After some time, Zander came out of the house and sat next to me. His hair was amazing in the now setting sun and his eyes sparkled in the remaining light. When I looked into his eyes... I swear I could spend an entire day staring into them. After what seemed like forever, Zander shook me a little to try and get my attention again. "Earth to Rikku? I'll call you that name. . ." he warned.

I mentally shook myself mentally as Zander did physically. "Sorry Z. And don't you dare call me that name. I changed it for a reason."

"I was just trying to get your attention, relax." he smiled trying to lighten the mood. When I saw the way his perfectly white teeth glistened and how happy he was I couldn't help but smile too.

I realized that the sun was almost completely behind the mountains. "It's getting late Zander, we should go inside," I said to him as I got up.

He responded with a simple "Ok," and we went inside, the sun completely set behind us.
