Drip.

Drip.

Drip.

Drop.

One by one, ruby red drops splattered onto the ground.

Elliot looked at the scene of carnage, her mind still muddled.

On one of the corpses, there was a ring.

It was nearly identical to the one Elliot wore.

Blank.

Elliot's mind was blank, her mind locking away all her memories to prevent her from breaking.

Currently, the Elliot could not hold out for much longer.

It's impossible.

Elliot's mind told her.

They were here.

Abigail, Alyssa, Candie, Persicus, Belladonna.

If they wished to kill Honey, he wouldn't have died so easily.

It's impossible.

Yet, crimson streaks flowed freely down Elliot's blank face, her emotions unknown even to her.

Time passed in a flash, without Elliot even feeling like an hour had passed.

Oh?

Still here, are you?

"..."

Ah...Young love is truly quite easy to manipulate.

"..."

Listen, girl.

I have a way of reviving them.

"You...You did this." Elliot blamed herself,"I...I am responsible."

Oi.

Are you listening?

"Listen? I've listened to your fucking voice for years now." Elliot spat venomously,"I've been thinking."

...What are you trying...

Oi.

The voice sounded...Anxious.

Elliot took out a sword, an item which did critical damage to demons,"You...You are me. You have to be my inner demon that he talked about." Elliot whispered.

Oi oi oi

Don't try anything funny!

Put that sword away!

Don't you want your life to avenge him?!

The voice became frantic.

"Avenge him? I am." Elliot stated quietly,"You've taken the most important things in my life. I will take away yours." Elliot took ahold of the sword, the blade glinting in the pale moonlight.

With a deep breath, she grabbed ahold of it with two hands and turned it-

On herself.

DON'T YOU DARE!

I'LL BECOME YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE!

"Worst...Nightmare?" Elliot muttered blankly for a moment.

Then, her shoulders shook as maniacal laughter rang out in the silence of night.

"It's already come true. Compared to losing..." Elliot's head cracked erratically to the side,"You're nothing."
