Months passed in forced peace.

Alphonse was a fast learner but he was more  parts muscle head and less parts intellectual.

"Morning Elliot! I made breakfast!" Alphonse called out to Elliot as she walked in,"I'll get it ready!"

"Nn." Elliot nodded approvingly.

He hasn't burnt the house...

Yet.

As they ate while Alphonse attempted to talk to the usually quiet Elliot.

The only time she seemed to talk was to annihilate any dignity Alphonse had regained.

"So...Where're you going today?..." Alphonse asked.

Elisia...They said they wanted to go...

"Prepping for trip to Elisia."

"E-Elisia? You mean the country Behrealia is at war with?" Alphonse asked, unsure.

"Friends said they wanted to go. No idea seeing as it's illegal." Elliot answered.

I-if I can meet with Sir Elliot...

Alphonse nodded quickly,"Then please! Could I come with you?"

"...Why?"

"I-If I can meet with Sir Elliot, he might be able to help me!"

"And if he doesn't?"

"Well..."

"What if he turns you in?"

"He would never!-"

"How would you know?"

Elliot sighed.

He's giving me more trouble than I expected...Ugh...

"If you want to go, you'll need to earn your right." Elliot told him.

"I'll do it! Whatever the cost!"

James could teach Elliot through experience.

The basics movements were practically hammered into her head.

Alphonse, on the other hand, could fine tune everything, weed out the small mistakes and allow for a higher mastery.

"Teach me." Elliot put a short sword on the table.

"Teach?" Alphonse was confused.

Wasn't Elliot working for the adventurer's guild?

"Why would a receptionist need to learn swordplay?..." Alphonse questioned.

Elliot frowned,"I'm not some receptionist. I'm an ad-ven-ture-er! Where'd you get the thought that I was some person sitting around greeting people?"

Alphonse smacked his head,"So when you said you worked for the guild!...You meant as an adventurer...Ah...I understand."

"...Not every woman is a damsel y'know." Elliot deadpanned.

"Yeah...I know."

"So you think this guy can help?"

"Definitely! Sir Elliot will definitely!"

"If he doesn't, you'll be on your own." Elliot answered clearly.

"Loud and clear miss!" Alphonse saluted.

"Are you sure about this?" James asked uneasily.

"C'mon! That was fucking awesome! Did you see that gigantic piece of land crush those soldiers? Like hot damn was that absolutely stunning!" Evie shouted,"Besides, we deserve a break right?"
