Alexia's POV

"Dad?" I ask almost in tears.

"Hey honey" he says engulfing me in a hug. I hug back and tears escape my eyes.

"Why are you here? I thought you were in jail" I say whispering the last part.

"I was, and I know what I did was wrong. I just wanted to have one of my kids with me." He says looking between me and Diana.

I look at my mom who is also in tears.

"I missed you" I say hugging him.

"I missed you too kiddo." He said.

"How long are you staying?" I ask him

"I'm not, I can't. I live in Cali now" he said. My smile turns into a frown.

"I know, but I'm gonna visit." He says.
I nod.

"Can you meet Aiden first?" I ask him.

"My son?" He asks

"Yeah." I say.

"Yes call him, I want go give him a hug." He says

I get out my phone and text Aiden telling him to come over ASAP.
In five minutes he's here.

"Alexia?" He calls

"Up here!" I yell from upstairs.
He comes upstairs and comes into my room where me and dad are.

"Hey wussup? Are you-" He says but stops when he sees our dad.

"Dad!" He says, our dad gets up and they hug. I smile to myself seeing them so happy.

We have a conversation with my dad and he soon has to leave. But he said he'll be back in 2 months.
(Later, Alexia's house)

"I can't believe he just showed up like that." I say to my brother

"I know." Aiden says.
We are both laying on our backs in my bed just staring at the ceiling.

"Even though I was mad, I kind of got over it since it was 16 years ago" Aiden adds.

"Yeah, 10 for me." I say.

"When we visit him, can we always go together?" I ask him.

"Yeah, of course" He tells me.
I love my dad, and I want to spend time with him. But I want to spent time with him, with my brother.

"Well, I should go. It's late." Aiden says getting up.

"Ok. Thank you for coming over." I say

"No. Thank you for telling me." He says. We hug and he left.

My mom and Diana had already went to sleep so I decided to go to bed.

I got into my night clothes and carefully got into bed.
Just as I was about to fall asleep, my phone buzzes and flashes.
I reach over to get it, and see that it's a text.

Lover Boy: Goodnight Muffin, luv you😘

I smile to myself when I read it.

Me: Goodnight Lover Boy, luv you too😘

And with that, I went to sleep, with a smile on my face.
