I ACHIEVED ONE OF MY MAIN 2018 GOALS! I'VE INSPIRED SOMEONE! I'VE INSPIRED SOMEONE WITH MY STORY OF ABUSE, ADOPTION AND SELF HARM! I INSPIRED SOMEONE!
As you can probably tell, I'm freaking out. One of my 2018 goals was to inspire someone. I shared my story of abuse, adoption and self harm. On social media, I became very open. Today, February, 18, 2018 someone messaged me through Instagram telling me I inspired them to ask about their birth parents.
My first reaction was to tell this person that I was glad to help in even such a small way. Then, I ran downstairs to tell my mom Jill. After that, I told my mom Bri.
It made me feel really happy to know that I am an inspiration to anyone. I've been through a lot in my 17 years. So being able to connect with anyone who may have gone through what I have is amazing.
I hope you all achieve your goals this year!
