I swear I don't think anything could go wrong this semester. I have easy classes and none of my teachers are aggy. Plus Vonni fine self is in ALL my B day classes. I don't think I have a thing for the kid. I just think I be getting lonely so I thought bout it. But I know it ain't going to happen. No doubt about it. "What you thinking bout shawty" Vonni said breaking me out of my empty thought. "Oh nothing for real just about who imma partner up for this damn robotics project" I said rolling my eyes. "You do that a lot" Vonnie said like he realized something. "Do what" he rolled his eyes all dramatic like. "I do NOT look like that" I said playing around. "Yeah you right you way cuter than me short stuff". I laughed then teased him "I'm not short you just tall", "nah shorty you small aab" I said wit a attitude "I'm a whole 10'2". He looked at me like I was playing then said "Ight short stuff" and put his elbow on my head like a armrest. "And bout that project we working together" before he could finish the t word I slid from under his arm and said " you ain't making me do all the work nigga. That's a whole L". "Of course not. You know I'm not dumb." At that I agreed. "Sooo you wanna come over afterschool" he asked shyly. I looked at him like he was crazy. "I mean I get he hasn't told us the specifics and all but this will get us ahead." He sounded desperate. Of course I used that against him. "It's not going to be that easy to get me alone in a room with ya boo" at that the bell rang and I walked out to Kiana's car for a ride home leaving Vonnie there. "Bitchhhaaahhh Vonni just asked me to come over" Kiana said nearly cutting me off "he did whattt" before she could ask what I was going to wear I told her " I said no though" she looked at me like I was slow. "Are you okay" she asked looking concerned. "yeah I just want to play hard to get ya feel me." She then said "maybe he don't wanna work hard. He sure won't have to with Cierra" with that we got into the car and drove to her house where we're meeting the rest of the girls. Kiana, Thailar , Dejah, Kim, Andy, and I was chilling and before I could say anything bout Vonni Kiana blurt our "Tierra dumb self ain't go to Vonni house an he ASKED her to go" everybody screamed "WHAT" at the same time. I was being ganged up on. I was trying to get them to calm down they won't listening to me. I swear I can't stand them sometimes. "Shut up!! Damn. Okay so I'm not finna let this nigga in easily. Ion even know him enough for that. And y'all know I have absolutely no time for boys and the stress that comes with them". They all looked at me then looked at each other. And then Andy of all people tries to give me advice on boys in spite of being gay. Wow. "Listen you are going to get sick and tired with only hanging out with us and having no one else to talk to. You need to give that boy a chance" I was as shocked as everyone else. "Thanks Andrea" I said sarcastically. She hates being called her birth name. Her being a stud and all. I was so happy I had all of them for real though and I might take their advice
