"you two need to go on the carpet now. you guys can get food later." andrew tells shawn & i.

we are at the grammys tonight & i couldn't be more excited. shawn is also going to be performing with sza but no one's gonna see it until april. since we did come together, we decided it would be best to match. he's wearing all black with a shirt that has lip prints in gold (what he wore for the pre grammys gala)

& i'm wearing a black velvet dress (see here.)

this is going to be my first grammys ever & i'm so happy that i get to spend it with shawn. i can't wait to see logic, camila, kesha, & so many more of my favorites.

i am really nervous to walk the carpet though. this isn't any carpet, this is the grammy's. i talked to shawn before about how nervous i was. of course he did everything in his power to help but ultimately i have to get over the fear myself.

we start walking towards the carpet through the crowds of people. andrew is leading us while we are following. shawn has his arm around my waist hugging me nicely. i smooth out my velvet dress, trying not to bite my nails since it's a habit of mine. shawn notices saying," hey you're gonna do great, don't worry about it."

smiling at me, he kisses my cheek. right then you can hear all the fans screaming from the sides reacting to the kiss shawn just gave me. i hear them yelling all sorts of things & i don't know what to feel.

"you look gorgeous y/n."

"shawn, i love you!"

"dump her, you can do better!"

all i wanted was to get through this night in peace.

"ok go quickly through the carpet because we have to be getting inside soon." i hear andrew say.

since we already did interviews before the carpet all we had to do was walk the carpet. i was just there with shawn as his girlfriend though since i'm just a nobody.

"shawn go first." andrew gestures for him to walk.

shawn steps out on the red carpet, starting to pose for the cameras. i wait my turn patiently.
