"Shawn, why do you do this do me?" I ask begging for an answer with tears in my eyes. Running my hands through my hair.
He starts shaking his head down with his head in his hands. I sit down on the couch while he stands up trying not to break down.
"God, Y/N I didn't want to make crap hard for you. Your so special to me. I just keep messing up. I just wanna make you proud but I can't even manage to make you smile anymore."
He sits next to me holding my hands, looking directly into my eyes. I just wanted to melt into him. He's makes me happy but never opens to me.
"I just want you to open your heart up and let me inside it. No smoke or mirrors. You make me happy, please know that? If you just open up to me i would understand. Please don't turn your face." I say looking at his now watering eyes. He looks back up at me with so much hurt in his eyes. I just wanted to lay with him and rub my hands through those beautiful brown locks. He lets go of my hand putting his hand back on his thigh.
"I want to open up Y/N, I really do but... god I don't know. What if you decide to leave me?" He says looking down in his lap. Shutting his eyes tightly then looking up at me again, eyes glossy.
I take his cheek in my cold hand and rub his warm rosy cheeks. He takes his hand and puts it on my hand that's on his cheek.
"Shawn....I'm going to be completely honest with you. I don't know what the future holds but all I know is that I love you with all my heart. I want to share every part of me with you. Whenever you feel like sharing yourself with me, I'm here. I never said this but.... I.. I love you. So much. " I waited with anxiety in my heart hoping I said the right thing to make him see how much I love him. And hoping I didn't move to fast with those three words.
By surprise he hugged me. He hugged me like there was no tomorrow. Then whispered, "I love you too Y/N." Now looking in my eyes he kissed me. Wow. This wasn't no regular kiss. This felt like the first time we kissed under the lamppost back on sixth street.
The biggest smile was on his face. One like I've never seen before. It made me smile back instantly. I grabbed his hand and walked him down the hall to our bed.
"You need to rest. You get back in the studio tomorrow." I told him getting under the covers with him.
"You treat me so well. I won't let you down. Hey, and I'll be more open with you. Plus if I turn my face, I won't be able to see that stunning godly made face of yours." He said with the most cheesy smile on his face.
"Go to sleep, cheesy muffin." I snuggled up to him and closed my eyes with a smile playing on my lips. Him wrapping his arms safely around me gently. Him soon closing his eyes as well.
