Few months ago...

"Y/N calm down. You can do this! You can do this! You can do this! You are Y/N Kang, and a Kang never gives up!," you whisper to yourself as you walk towards Jungkook under a tree having a fun picnic with his gang in the school's mini park. You can do this, Y/N! You won't loose anything. Fighting!

When you reached Jungkook you stood in front of him until he noticed you. He gave you a smile that made you nervous. He stood up and came closer to you.

"Do you have it?" He asked excitedly and slightly jump when he reached you. You hesitated but still pulled out a piece of a folded paper and slowly handed it to Jungkook. His smile faded and open the paper and his bunny smile appeared immediately. He looked at you and hugged you.

"You're the best Y/N! Oh! I don't know what to do without you! You're my very best friend!," still shocked by Jungkook's hug you unconsciously patted his back hard causing him to groan.

"Yeah. What would you do without me? I bet you'll be there just starting at her from afar! Geez, when will you man up?," you said and sat at the mat on the grass and grab a sandwich, you took a big bite on it leaving only a half of the original size.

"You eat like you haven't eaten for 3days, Y/N-ah. Gross," said Jin who also eat like you, the only difference is he's picky and you're not.

"Said by you Jin oppa," you said and swallowed and grabbed a soda.

"Yeah hyung you eat worst than Y/N... for what I think," said by Jimin. You glared at him and continued eating.

"At least I'm still handsome," he said and ate the whole sandwich and do aegyo. You just laughed at how confident Jin is doing aegyo with his mouth full. One word and four letters. U-G-L-Y.

Jungkook sat beside you who still have his bunny smile on him and took a sandwich. You know that he's dancing and jumping inside, you can imagine him actually doing it like a crazy man and that thought made you laugh for a bit.

"Jungkook-ah it's a yes is it?," asked Jimin who is waiting for Jungkook's answer patiently. Wait, how did he know? Probably Jungkook, he's so obvious. Jimin is also part of the plan anyway so he knows, but why did Jimin asked? Jungkook is beyond obvious.

"What? You gave it today?," asked Namjoon removing his eyes from his phone and looked at Jungkook with wide eyes.

"When?," asked Hoseok almost choking his sandwich. His eyes are wide open and slightly smiling. They already know the answer.

"And?" asked Yoongi who is half asleep and slightly opened his eyes to look at Jungkook smiling as if he's mental. They all know the answer and this oppa is just natural. Well he knows the answer and is waiting for the maknae to say it. It's not everyday Jungkook become a man so of course his hyungs should support him.

Jungkook just shrugged smiling like a mental and the gang congratulate him and hit him except Yoongi who continued his sleep and returned to his own world. You just laughed hard at poor Jungkook who wants to escape now, he looked at you calling for help so you did.

"Break it out guys! He'd probably be dead even before he dates Tzuyu." You said and the guys did break it out and continued doing what they're doing.

"Woah. Our Jungkookie is a man now. Daebak!" said Taehyung and put his arm around Jungkook's neck. They were so happy for Jungkook except you.

Jungkook, Taehyung, Jin, Hoseok, Namjoon, Jimin, Yoongi, and you are childhood friends. You met them in school, preschool. You were bullied by five guys from your class and there was no teachers around to stop them. They kept hitting you on the head and get your lunch everyday, until they came along. They protected you from the bullies and became friends with them. They treat you like a little sister and you treat them like your big brothers. Jungkook on the other hand got too carried away by the treatment to the point where you're falling. You realized that when you two got stuck in a cabin when it started raining on your way back home, you were grade 2 while he was 2 levels above you.

That feeling became deeper and deeper and deeper. You're in love with him, but you're afraid if he doesn't like you back. So years came and nothing changed, you're still in love with him but he's into someone else.

"Yah Y/N!"

"Huh?" you snapped out of your thoughts and looked at Jungkook, " What?"

"What will I do? Where will I take her? And what will I bring her? Chocolates? Flowers? Teddy bear?" He asked. You just smiled even if it hurts deep inside, but you don't want to be a bad friend so you help him.

"For me maybe flowers will do. I don't know, bring whatever you like but don't buy clothes, bracelets, necklaces, etc.," he glared at you so you gave him a confused look, "What? At least I said flowers. Me and Tzuyu are very very very very very different, no similarities on anything."

"Don't be harsh on yourself, Y/N-ah. You're beautiful but not as beautiful like Tzuyu, but you're beautiful on your own way," said Taehyung and drunk his soda and throw it at the trash can. Your mouth half opened by what he said, you don't know if it's an insult or a compliment but for Taehyung it's a compliment, maybe.

"What? That doesn't make any sense at all."

"Jiminie, I'm telling Y/N that she's beautiful but not as beautiful as Tzuyu. She's unique and beautiful in her own way."

"Are you saying she's pretty and Tzuyu is beautiful?"

"Yeah! But I said she's beautiful in her own way."

"Okay, but Y/N-ah don't compare yourself to other girls okay?" You nodded at Jimin.

"I won't Jimin oppa," you said but that's hard. It's natural for a girl to compare herself to others.

"Namjoon hyung pass me the soda." said Taehyung and Namjoon grabbed the soda and throw it at Taehyung. Taehyung caught it with ease and opened it and drink it.

You got up and took your bag. They all looked at you confused.

"Class. I'm going to class and you should go too," you said then left them nodding, "See you guys later!"

"Yeah we'll pick you up!"

You looked back smiling and said, "I'm not a kid anymore," and you really left but your smile quickly disappeared right after you turn your back. Him... into someone.

"We'll still pick you up so wait for us! Araso?!" You heard Hoseok shouted. You laughed and just waved your hand as a sign that you heard him because if you didn't he'll keep shouting louder.
