Phil's POV

*Monday Morning*

*5 AM*

Sunlight beaming in through my bedroom window hit my eyelid, causing me to blink awake. I turned my head to the clock, are you shitting me? Five in the morning and I am awake? *sigh* oh well better make breakfast then. I slowly sat up to see Dan laid on the other side of the bed, all snuggled up and cozy. He was so peaceful. I leaned over and kissed his cheek as he let out a small snore. Once in the kitchen, I started frying up some eggs and mixing some pancake dough up. Dan should be happy because of the Delia Smith pancake mix. I felt a small smile grow on my face while remembering the video we made ever so long ago about "How To Make British Pancakes", look how far we've come.

* 7 AM*

The sound of a clicking door took my focus off the pancakes and towards the hall. Isabella walked around the corner, "Morning Dad, what're you doing up so early?"

"I was up early so I decided instead of cereal why don't we have actual breakfast," I smiled as I pulled her into a hug, she winced in pain when her arms wrapped around me, "You okay? What's wrong?"

She shook her head, "Nothing I'm fine" I knew she was lying but I decided to let it got for now.

Once Dan and Dil got up, we all sat down for breakfast. Dan kissed my cheek before sitting down, "Thanks for breakfast Philly" my cheeks flushed a bright pink.

*Later*

Once we had dropped Isabella off at school and Dil off at Chris', who lucky offered to babysit till we were done at the radio studio and done at the news station. We were greeted by the newscast as they lead us to some couches and sat down next to us. The lights were bright as the lady next to me greeted the camera, she then turned to Dan and me, "And this morning we are joined by social media sensations Dan and Phil Howell-Lester" we both smiled and thanked them for asking us to come. "Now Dan and Phil, how long have you two been married?"

Dan's cheeks went a bright pink as he looked over at me, eyes filled with love, "almost eleven years"  I smiled and took hold of Dan's hand.

"Aw~! And how has that been for you both?"

"It's been lovely actually," the ladies smiled at my response

"Any children? Pets?"

I nodded as Dan answered, "Yes, we have a five-year-old boy named Dil, and a fourteen-year-old daughter named Isabella" I pulled up a picture of use and the kids and showed the ladies as they told us how beautiful our kids are.

"So Dan," the lady turned to me, "Phil, the voting, and protests going on recently...How-what is your opinion on the situation?"

I turned to Dan, "Honestly, I'm quite sad it was even considered...I mean if you can't marry the one you love, then why don't they just make marriage illegal?"

Dan nodded, "Agreed. I mean I did always think something like this would happen but, I didn't imagine it would affect our kids as it has." the ladies nodded, "Sure, right I can see where these people are coming from my dad was the same way but okay you don't like it fine move on with your life. Stop consuming your life around stopping something you have no control over"
