*Some months later Rose pov*

Everything has been going so perfect for us I had been on tour we just celebrated Kenzo's second birthday he was getting bigger and bigger I couldn't wait for my tour to be over so I could just be with him all day again, Prince and I learned to be great co parents and friends and  our schedules compensated well with watching Kenzo our main focus was to be with him together as a family as many times as we could which worked out well but as for our work schedules we made it work out perfectly so it was easy for one of us to watch him, we even work on music together from time to time and it was pretty obvious and out to the world now that Kenzo was his son still NO SEX honestly with everything going on and being so busy we wouldn't even have time to but we have been out together a few times as family or just as us two and it felt good things were working out I could say him and Marcus decided to put their childish differences aside which made things a lot easier, my family was good everything was just good. I was home for a week on break and I was going to Paisley park to pick up Kenzo I was so tired I just wanted to lay in a bed and stay sleep all week. My driver pulled up and I got out the car grabbing my purse "Okay I will be right back." I grabbed my key unlocking the door "Prince?! Kenzo?!" I called out looking around the house hearing no call back "PRINCE!!" one of the paisley workers walked over to me "hello Ms. Rose follow me.." I scrunched my face confused following the worker to the back. I stepped outside seeing the yard all lit up with tikis and string lights and rose petals everywhere..I walked out further on the grass seeing Prince holding flowers

I looked around confused "Prince what is this where is Kenzo" he smiled "he is with the nanny.." "THE NANNY?! you sent my child with someone I don't know Prince where is my child" "calm down look I promise he is in good hands.." "what is all this im tired I don't have time" "look I just want tonight to be special the night is outs can you just go with the flow please?" I sighed as he gave me those soft eyes I couldn't resist.what was he up to we were doing so well but why the hell not."fine.." he put his hand out and I walked over grabbing he he pulled me into a soft hug giving me the flowers "our anniversary passed--" "Prince --" "just wait I know what your gonna say don't ruin what we have now and so on but we have a lot to celebrate through everything we got a beautiful son out of this and we should celebrate that if anything right??" such a smooth talker "yeah I guesss so.." "so join me on this adventure tonight.." "what adventure.?" he pointed up and I followed his finger seeing the hot air balloon arrive my mouth dropped "oh my goodness!" the guy landed it and Prince guided me on there was a dinner, champagne, speaker playing music softly.We started to lift up and take off

After having dinner I just looked down enjoying the sunset and view "Ok this is nice I will admit" "but..?" "we are just doing so well as friends" "yeah but remember you said if I put in work and built up trust we could have a shot...and you can't tell me when we go out that it isn't there I refuse to believe you don't still love me.." "of course I do...I just said that because I was scared and yeah I will admit we have been somewhat getting back on track." he took a deep breath getting nervous "what's wrong.." "nothing.." he grabbed my hand pulling me up as we looked over at the town he pulled me close into him dancing to the music I let go laying my head into him closing my eyes as we swayed....He spun me around making me smile he stopped me mid spin and grabbed me from behind whispering into my ear I got that feeling I use to get when he held me I held on laying my head back taking in his cologne "you see that.." he said pointing letting go I squinted my eyes "no I don't see anything.." "keep looking harder" I squinted my eyes seeing letters light up...I looked harder trying to make out the words "will you marr---" I gasped covering my mouth seeing My grandma holding Kenzo, Brandon, Marcus, Carmen, Wendy, and more on the bridge jumping up and down as the sign lit up on the bridge I realized it was the bridge where Prince and I first went out that night before the studio.

I covered my mouth turning fast "Pri--" I looked down to see him on his knees smiling holding a ring I felt so overwhelmed he really knew how to make a proposal "Rose..lately well..since forever I felt like you were the only one for me and I am the only one for you it took me a while to get my act together and it took me to lose you to know that you were the only woman I will ever want to be with, your the mother of my first child and hopefully more and the love of my life I want nothing more than to continue to build a life with you, make more beautiful kids and try this all over again..you may feel like this is all to soon again but it's now or never..I want to be with you . its a working progress but...lets try this again we can go to all your favorite places Paris, Thailand wherever and if the previous memories are too painful for you we will forget them and make new amazing ones to tell to our kids in the future and our grand kids like I said before no one compares to you I can't see myself spending the rest of my life with anyone else ..I love you..and dee down I came back because  I know you never stopped loving me too Will you marry me?" I was in such shock taking everything in but he was right...I did never stop loving him and I never will. I nodded my head as tears fell "yes! lets do this my love" no one else could compare  no other love could compare to the love we had through the ups and downs I realized at the end of the day we were truly meant to be inseperable always finding our way back to each other..and I dont see myself having a future with anyone else. He slid the ring on my finger it was an upgraded version of the previous one.

"it's beautiful!" He stood up wrapping his arms around me and I hugged him back tightly this is all I wanted my husband, and my family. I was the happiest woman in the world right now I couldn't wait to start our new life TOGETHER. When we got off the hot air balloon everyone ran over to us hugging me in excitement we all went out to a celebration dinner and took pictures I posted my ring and a picture of us with the caption "I said yes!" you already know how happy our fans were gonna be that we were back together they've been waiting and they deserve to celebrate this moment with us as well. I just couldn't wait till we did our own celebrating at home if ya know what I mean.
