Ice Ice Baby: Where are we going?

Leon: What did I just tell you?

Ice Ice Baby: >:) What?

Leon: Whatever. Just meet me after school. I'll take to Armonia Cafe.

Ice Ice Baby: I thought you don't drink coffee

Leon: I don't. But I know you, like, live off that stuff.

Ice Ice Baby: As long as you're paying. Fine, see ya there

Leon: It's a date then.

Ice Ice Baby: What

Leon: Jk, jk. See ya

"Leon, class has started. Put away your phone," The teacher spoke as she entered the class.

"Sure thing, Mrs." I sighed and shoved it in my pocket. Waiting for class to be over.

School has ended for the day and I waited for Emil. I took out my phone and messaged him.

Leon: Yo, I'm outside the school. Ready for our adventure

Ice Ice Baby: I can't go

Leon: Chickening out?

Ice Ice Baby: No, my brother wants me to come home

Leon: :(

Ice Ice Baby: I'll see you tomorrow

Leon: Just tell him you're staying for studying or something

Ice Ice Baby: He knows I don't need to study. I have good grades

Leon: nerd

Ice Ice Baby: We can do something another time

Leon: :( Please

Ice Ice Baby: No

Leon: Pwease OwO

Ice Ice Baby: Definitely not now

I frowned and shrugged, exiting out of the conversation. Before I could leave, someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and saw Emil smirked at and shaking his head.

"Lukas thinks I'm in the library studying like a good kid. Let's go on your stupid adventure,"

I smiled at him and wrapped my arm around his shoulder, "I knew you couldn't resist me,"

"Shut up," Emil giggled and pushed my arm off, "Let's get this over with. I need to be home before dark,"

We started walking to the cafe and talked.

"Scared of the dark, Emil?"

"Scared shit-less" Emil responded sarcastically, "My brother has a curfew set up. He's kind of a strict old man,"

"I actually never met your brother. You always say how annoying he is. Why don't you invite me for dinner someday?"

"You just want free food,"

"Heh, maybe,"

"And you don't want to meet Lukas. He probably won't like you,"

"You talked about me to him?"

"No, he just doesn't like people in general,"

"Understandable. Reminds me of my bro,"

"Is he still sleep-deprived and grouchy?"

"More than usual. It stopped for a while but he started sneaking out early again," Emil knew about my life and Yao because I would always rant to him about it. We always discussed about Yao's early morning disappearances.

"What's your theory this time?" Emil asked.

I thought for a while, "He has a secret pact with the devil and has to collect souls for a sacrifice?"

"Why would he make a pact with the devil?"

I shrugged, "I mean, he's been wanting an Xbox so..."

Emil snorted, which made me laugh as well. Emil is a weird guy. Usually very quiet but I enjoyed his company more than anything.

I've been writing this story since 2 years ago? I need a life

Also, Im sorry if HK and Ice are out of character, I'm not very experienced writing them but I did the best I could with my interpretation of them and their version in this au.
