Her Past (Melizabeth)

~Chapter 16~Feelings~

~Elizabeth's Pov~ 

We did end up eating before truly going to rest. I ended up falling asleep for the rest of that day and the whole night. My dream was filled with me and Meliodas. I wasn't sure if this was a memory or a dream. My feelings of the past about him were still there today. He made my heart race, he made me feel safe and happy. He was there for me. He was able to tell when I needed help. I couldn't help but want to remember more. I couldn't help but want to be closer to him. When I woke up I was able to hear Diane shouting downstairs.

It wasn't long until I heard Ban shout back at her. I only laughed slightly half asleep as I rubbed my eye. I then only noticed that I laughed. I sat up fast in some shock. I thought I lose the ability to do so long ago. I then got up heading to the wardrobe to change into a long sleeve black dress. I was still wearing the necklace that Meliodas got me. Estarossa called me a Goddess. From what I remember from books and my lessons with Merlin, the Goddess were wiped out in a holy war so long ago. It made me wonder what I really was.

I soon heard knocking on the door making me turn my head to see Meliodas coming into the room. He was wearing clean clothes that looked just the same as the ones he normally would wear. "I thought I would check on you while the others argue about who gets what job when we get to Liones castle" Meliodas spoke closing the door behind him. I nodded as Meliodas moved to stand in front of me. I noticed Meliodas's eyes turned into a slightly brighter shade as he soon closed them, looking away from me.

"I will get Ban to cook up some breakfast" he soon spoke as I called his name in a whisper getting me to open his eyes and look at me once more. I had so many questions I wanted to ask both Merlin and Meliodas. I knew I couldn't push my luck with dropping so many. "How did we really meet?" I asked in a whisper as Meliodas chuckled moving closer to me. I stepped back, getting my back to hit the wall. Meliodas right in front of me as his hand went next to my head. My face was soon warming up. 

"Well honest answer, we both were being made to marry each other. We both weren't sure about the whole thing but we got to know each other. Leading to me truly falling in love with you" Meliodas answered his smile turning into a smirk as he moved his head closer to mine. He wasn't helping my face, it must've been a bright red. Meliodas had his forehead on mine as my heart was beating faster and beating louder than before as well. "I really can't hold myself back anymore" he whispered confusing me.

I went to ask what he meant but he pressed his lips on mine. My eyes widen in shock but my body was soon reacting a lot different. My eyes soon closed and I kissed him back. It was as if it was a normal reaction. It was as if this was normal even. As the kiss went on I was seeing things like before. This time I had four Goddess wings on my back as I was wearing a white dress taking a deep breath. Another Goddess walked in looking at me. "Time to meet your future husband" they spoke with a smirk. 

I was in shock as unlike before I wasn't able to hear anything much, mostly see it. Myself and the other Goddess walked to a room where Meliodas was standing in, a huge smirk on his face. The mark that I saw on him when he fought Zeldris was there above his right eye. "Meet Crowned Prince Meliodas of the Demon Clan" the Goddess spoke but after that sentence, everything was back to normal. It was back in the present day. Meliodas had pulled away from the kiss as I opened my eyes slowly. Both of us breathing heavy. 

His eyes back to normal also. "Sorry. I couldn't hold back" Meliodas spoke fast as my body moved on its own, my hands going on Melidoas's chest as I ended up pulling him into another kiss. He was as shocked as myself. I had no idea what my body was doing. Meliodas kissed back a hand going on my waist. All these feelings. Confusion, love, joy, sadness...I couldn't control them around him. Everything just moved on its own. Everything inside of me felt as if I was on fire. I wasn't sure how long we were in the second kiss.

When we pulled away both of us were a lot more out of breath than before. My face had never felt so hot before. As we were catching our breaths, Meliodas went in for another kiss until we heard Diane shouting once more downstairs. "They are going to end up coming up here" Meliodas mumbled annoyed as it was easy to see neither one of us wanted to stop. I ended up having a smile on my face as Meliodas was soon smiling at me. "You don't understand how much I've missed you" Meliodas whispered as we heard someone coming up the stairs.

Meliodas moved his head slightly to be next to mine. "One day I won't be able to hold back fully. I will want a lot more than a kiss" he whispered as I didn't think my face was able to burn up even more than before. I was wrong. Very wrong. I was in shock by Meliodas's words as I heard him chuckle slightly. "I won't let anyone take you away from me again. I truly do love you...Elizabeth" Meliodas soon whispered before moving his head back. My body didn't want him to go. My heart didn't want him to stop.

Everything in me, wanted him to not hold back. I was so confused with myself. Meliodas was smirking slightly as Hawk came into the room. "HEY! OFF HER!" Hawk shouted as within a second we heard running up the stairs. Meliodas soon sighed as we heard Merlin and Diane coming into the room shouting 'captain' upset. Meliodas kept his small smirk as he kissed my forehead. The two females were in shock as I ended up smiling more. "I gotta go work on a plan but after that, I will answer any questions you have" Meliodas whispered.

I only nodded as he moved, walking out the room ordering Diane and Merlin to take me to town. He also ordered them to buy me anything I want or like before he vanished fully. Soon the two girls were in front of me smirking. "I never have seen such a blushing face before" Diane spoke as Merlin laughed slightly her smirk turning into a smile. They weren't helping my flushed face at all. Diane giggled as Merlin put her hand on top of my head. "Seems like you and the Captain will always have those feelings for each other, no matter what happens" Merlin spoke.

Diane nodded in agreement her smirk turning into a smile. "You also can ask me anything Elizabeth. I already am working with Gowther to bring back you memories" Merlin then spoke as I nodded, thanking her in a whisper as Diane hugged my arm. She soon was shouting 'girl day' getting Merlin to laugh slightly.
