I felt Mayte burning a hole in my face as I killed the routine and Prince smiled while he sang twirling me into his arms this felt perfect like its where I was supposed to be everything just flowed naturally between us when we danced there was a certain spark and energy.

finishing the song. "That was great" . We took a quick break and finished rehearsals went back to the hotels got ready and packed and got back on the road.

------------------------two to three weeks later into the tour ---------------------

this entire first couple of weeks has been great for us the shows went well prince and I and our little encounters, sending me flowers after shows to my room and so on still was confused about our whole relationship thing but this next week is when all pressure hit and things started to go downhill. We were at a show in South Dakota not to far from home actually right next door the usual hair and make up just got finished I was going through all the routines my phone rang and I saw it was Carmen answering it "Hey C i'm sorry I haven;t been able to get back to you" "um yeah bitch just wanted to call and ask when you were gonna invite me to a show girl! its been two weeks" "Yeah I know I know things are jut moving so fast but i'm about to go on ill call ya after the show okay!" I hung up and walked out in line we lined up by the stage curtain Prince came by giving me his usual good luck peck on the cheek and bad we were on. 

Tonight's show wasn't too well and Prince wasn't in the best of the mood of course you already know that means rehearsal was gonna be rough and we were all tired so all we wanted to do was get to our rooms and go to sleep as for Prince he was probably gonna find the nearest studio and play till morning. After getting our regular clothes on and what not we were heading out to the tour buses going through back stage when I heard my name being called I turned around seeing Aidan making my eyes widen and mouth open I was shocked I wasn't expecting this "heyy you" we walked towards each other hugging he gave me the flowers he had "Um--" "I know your surprised but I saw the tour was here tonight and I wanted to surprise you and say hey" I nodded  "Well thank you." "I also wanted to see you because our last encounter I didn't mean for things unless your rea--" "Aidan " I shook my head in a n motion "You don't have to explain yourself it's ok let's just pretend it didn't happen okay" "so you did real good tonight" "thank you im glad you enjoyed the show" I said smelling the flowers "I won the art show they lyour pictures" "oh my gosh really that's great ims o happy for you, you have to send them to me asap" I said hugging me when we pulled away Aidan looked down at my neckline seeing my Prince necklace I'm guessing before I could say anything I heard a pair of heels coming over "Hello Ro...is this a friend." I nodded "uh yeah Prince this is Aidan, Aidan Prince" you could tell Aidan was trying to hold back his excitement he put his hand out to shake Prince's hand "My mother and I are HUGE fans of you" but he gave him a very dis-pleasant look 

 "I don't like the word fan but thank you..so uh what do you do?" "I'm a photographer" Prince flipped his hair out the way and turned towards me and by the look I knew he was upset.

 "Look we don't usually allow random groupies back stage so do you mind and when your done with camera boy here I'd like to see you in my dressing room." he spoke "but prince--" " he looked over at me as he turned away "I'm sorry about---" "So what's that all about hope I didn't get you in trouble" "He just isn't to big of a fan of people he don't know being backstage" "Rose ..I see the necklace..the way he looks at you..are you the new prince girl of the week or something" "What?" "Look i'm a nice guy i like you I really do but I won't be made a fool of and have you when your just screwing the famous guy to get by when I've been busting my ass for weeks trying to get you" "Oh so that's what you think im doing?!" That's exactly what I was doing but he wouldn't understand "You know what Aidan I told you what THIS was before that I wanted to go slow so I don't even get how you can act upset if I was which it's not any of your business fuck you and your opinion I don't need anybody to get me by I've been doing it for years YOU just watch and see because i'm great you asshole I make my own decisions if I wanted to fuck you I'd fuck you and if I am fucking anyone else that's what I WANNA DO who's necklace I WEAR is MY decision so don't act like i'm just some dumb girl who's head over heels for the next guy MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS I thought you were the good guy too" I slammed the flowers back into his chest and stormed off he stood there dumb founded I couldn't believe he could say such a thing I cooled off and took deep breaths before knocking and entering Prince's dressing room nervous of his reaction when I opened the door I saw Susan sitting laughing at his charming flirtatious ways as he stroked her chin...I mean it's nothing I told myself they both looked over at me "Susan could you wait for me in the car" she nodded getting off the couch "hey Ro.." she said with a small smile before leaving out I slammed the door and stormed over to him "WHAT THE HELL-" he grabbed my arm and sat me down "I told you that you were mines I am not one to play games or to be embarrassed and look like a damn fool" "I didn't know he was gonna show up" "Well clearly you don't know what you want .." "ME??" "My friend visits me and not even two seconds you got Susan all up in your dressing room so you can screw around and do whatever the hell Prince wants but I can't see whoever I want I don't even know what this relationship is or where it's going" "Woahhh that relationship word..baby girl this is simply not that don't get your pretty little head wrapped up in that fantasy" "so everything you tell me is bullshit" "I didn't say that" "So what are you saying ...you have a fiancee and kid on the way but you don't do relationships?!?! im a little confused here I just wanna know what I am getting myself into because i'm not that girl to break a happy home" "here we go again " He sighed "I don't explain myself you signed a contract don't let this mishap happen again and don't ever talk to me in that tone" he turned away giving me a cold shoulder and I didn't like the feeling it's like when a parent yells at you well that's how I felt and although I shouldn't give a fuck you just can't help the way you feel about him rather it was wrong or right I stood up chasing after him grabbing his arm "No stop where are you going don't be upset with me there is nobody but you" he shot me a glare and slid his arm away from me "Stop your begging I will be in the studio don't bother." he just walked off I looked arund the empty room blinking fast and fanning my face I wiped my tears and walked out to the bus Prince's drummer was still loading stuff and I guess he saw me "Hey Rose" his name was Marcus..I stood there wiping my face before turning towards him "Yeah..?" he walked over to me "Are you ok?" "Yeah eyah what makes you ask?" "Well your eyes are red and you kinda stormed outta Prince's dressing room" "Oh no um Im good" "Look I know it's not my business but don't loose sleep over whatever happened every girl is the same ya know" "Oh so I'm like all the others is what your saying yep got it ok nice talking to you ya know you just stay behind the scenes as Prince's yes man and do your damn job."  "Oh yeah and you just do your job and shake your ass for a guy who fucks everything in site!" "FUCK YOU!" I smacked him and I turned away angry I shouldn't have blown up on him but I was frustrated right now and I get what he was trying to say but deep down in me I knew what the truth was I was just the next girl on his list I got on the bus and Diamond and Pearl looked up "Hey where's Susan?" "Uhh I think she's going to the studio with Prince he said he needed her for some help" they both gave each other a look and went back to minding their business and that night I went back to my hotel room and cried myself to sleep.
