The Lazarus Experiment/Red Sky at Morning Pt. 4

The Doctor kneeled by Lazarus's body. As he closed Lazarus's eyes, the body became old again.

"I didn't know you could play," Martha said

"Oh, well, you know, if you hang around with Beethoven, you're bound to pick a few things up," The Doctor explained

"Hmm, especially about playing loud," Angela mused as she and Dean walked up to the trio.

"Sorry?" Angela couldn't help but laugh only to sober up as Dean walked over to them.

"Angela, why don't you check in with Sam and Bela,"

"Dee.." Angela started but saw the look in his eyes and nodded, she looked over at the Doctor "Don't leave without me,"

"Wouldn't dream of it," The Doctor said. He watched as Angela, Martha, and Trish left him alone with the eldest Winchester.

"I remember you..." Dean said.

"It was an accident. I was looking for Angela..."

"You care for her..." The Doctor didn't reply. Dean nodded in understanding and began to walk passed the Doctor "Take care of her Doc." he stopped next to him "but if you hurt her in any way...I'll kill you,"

Martha and I stood in front of the TARDIS as the Doctor unlocked it.

"Something else that just kind of escalated, then," The Doctor claimed

"I can see a pattern developing. You should take more care in the future. And the past, and whatever other time period you find yourself in," Martha claimed

"It's good fun, though, isn't it?"

"Yeah," I smiled.

The Doctor looked over at Martha "So, what d'you say, one more trip?"

"No. Sorry," Martha replied

"What do you mean? I thought you like it,"

"I do, but I can't go on like this. 'One more trip.' It's not fair,"

"What're you talking about?"

"I don't want to be just a passenger anymore. Someone you take along for a treat. If that's how you still see me, well, I'd rather stay here,"

"Okay, then. If that's what you want,"

"Right. But we've already said good-bye once today so it's really best if you just go. I'll get a ride back to England with my sister," Martha walked away from the TARDIS, keeping her back to it.

I couldn't help but laugh, causing her to look over her shoulder.

"What is it?"

"What?" I laughed "He said okay,"

"Sorry?"

"Okay," The Doctor nodded his head at the TARDIS.

"Oh, thank you! Thank you!" Martha cheered as she hugged him and laughed as she went into the TARDIS.

The Doctor took my hand and we followed her inside.
