You Came Back - Derek

You ran out of the Argent's bunker and into the network of tunnels. The bunker used to be a safe place for you and the pack, but with Gerard and Monroe creating an army, it no longer was.

The hunters had used wolfsbane on you and trapped you in the bunker, tied up to the electrically charged gate. Them being inexperienced hunters, didn't actually turn the electricity on.  So once the wolfsbane wore off and you regained your strength, you broke through your binds and ran.

As you were running you heard Monroe yell at them, "You idiots didn't shock her at all?! Come on, we need to get her!"

You heard their footsteps behind you, so you ran as fast as you could, with supernatural help and all.

As you kept running, you finally saw the ladder that led up to the surface. You jumped and grabbed onto the handles. You climbed to the top and pushed the hatch open; you climbed out and ran again.

Monroe and the other hunters were hot on your trail, even though you were running as fast as you could; they kept following you as you ran into the preserve.

You heard Monroe yell something to them, and then all of a sudden you felt arrows in your back; for inexperienced hunters, they were good shots.

You roared out in pain, but kept running; running until you heard a gun go off and felt the bullet in your calf. You roared even louder and fell to the ground. You sat up and tried to get the arrows out of your back, but they were lodged deep into your muscle, it was too painful and difficult to do it yourself.

"Looks like you're not as tough as you thought you were."

You looked up and saw Monroe with the three other hunters behind her. You growled, "Stay away from me! I've never been one for killing, but I think I can make an exception for you four!"

She scoffed, "You're not killing anyone, I'm killing you," she pointed her gun at your head, "Creatures like you are too dangerous, I'm not letting you terrify the public anymore. Freaks of nature like you don't deserve to live, and your pack isn't anywhere near here to save you."

A voice from behind Monroe and the hunters spoke, "They're not, but I am." Monroe and the hunters turned around, and you looked from behind them at the person who spoke, it was Derek.

Derek roared and moved towards them, so they tried to shoot him, missing as he grabbed their guns and fought them off. Monroe had her gun pointed towards Derek as he was fighting off the other hunters, so you grabbed her ankles and pulled her to the ground. She immediately began moving away, but you grabbed her and pulled her back. She shot her gun like crazy, hitting you in the shoulder once. You roared and clawed at her, giving her a big scratch across the stomach in the process. She yelled in pain and kicked you in the stomach, causing you to fall back to the ground. She took this opportunity to get up and run, with the other three hunters following behind her.

You groaned in pain and Derek ran over to you, "(Y/n)! You're okay, you're going to be okay."

You groaned again, "Derek, it hurts really bad. She shot me twice and I have arrows in my back, I'm not healing."

"I need to take the arrows and bullets out of your body first, then you'll heal. Just relax, it's going to hurt even worse."

He grabbed one of the arrows in your back and pulled it out. You roared in pain and could barely sit still, but Derek held you in place. He continued and pulled out the other two arrows, which hurt like hell, but you felt a little better once they were out. Next, he went to take the bullets out. He used his claws to get them because of how small they were and how deep they were in your muscle.

He sat down against a tree and held you in his lap once he was done. You were trying to focus and trigger your healing, but you couldn't. You were in so much pain. You tried to focus on something else so your body would heal on its own, and that's when it hit you, Derek actually returned to Beacon Hills.

You looked up at Derek, "You came back."

He smiled softly at you, "Of course I did, I love you, (y/n)."

You smiled back at him, "I love you too, Derek."

He leaned down and kissed you; you felt sparks go through your body, but you also felt your pain subside. Once you both pulled away, you looked at each other with smiles on your faces, "You took my pain when we kissed, the love we share healed me."

His smile grew bigger, bigger than you've ever seen on him, "Of course it did, god I love you so much."

Your smile grew bigger too, "I love you more than you'll ever know, Derek."
