It was Friday afternoon, after school, and you were in your bedroom with Lydia, Malia, and Kira. You had invited them over to hang out before the big lacrosse game later that night. You guys were talking about everything and anything, but then the conversation started to focus on you.

Lydia looked at you and smiled, "So, tell us about you and Liam."

Your face started to heat up, "What?"

Lydia playfully frowned, "Oh come on (y/n), it's obvious you two have something going on."

"I don't know what your talking about, we're just friends."

Kira laughed a little, "It doesn't seem like it."

Now you were confused, "Why?"

Kira continued, "He's always flirting with you, and it's not hard to tell that you enjoy it. Plus, you're like always together."

Lydia agreed, "Oh yeah."

Malia added, "And I can smell the affection and longing on you two when you're together."

You buried your now red face in your hands in embarrassment, "Is it really that bad?"

Malia answered, "I mean, yeah."

Earning glares from Lydia and Kira, she continued, "But like we said, he definitely likes you too."

You looked up at her, "Really?"

She smiled and nodded as Lydia spoke, "Yes, which is why you need to look cute for the game tonight."

She stood up and dragged you to your closet as Kira and Malia started digging through your drawers.

You laughed a little, "I think this is going a little overboard for a lacrosse game."

They all ignored you as they were still trying to find the perfect outfit for you. You just shook your head and sat back down on your bed, waiting to see what they each picked out.

Kira turned to you smiling with something in her hands, "What about this?"

Lydia and Malia turned to see what she had as you spoke, "Liam's jersey?"

"Aww he gave you his jersey?", Malia teased.

Your cheeks heated up again, "Yeah, he had to get a new one because that one got pretty beat up. The lettering is all scratched, but I told him it was still good to keep, so he gave it to me."

Lydia smiled, "Perfect, you're going to wear that!"

You took the jersey from Kira and changed into it. Luckily it wasn't going to be that cold out, so you wore it with leggings, a jean jacket which you kept open over it, and black converse.

The three girls looked at you and smiled. It was perfect.

Later on, you all got to the school and went to the field. You sat down in the middle of the bleachers and waited for the game to start.

After talking and waiting for a few minutes, the team walked onto the field. You all looked for your friends on the field as the players looked through the crowd on the bleachers, looking for their friends and family too.

You saw the numbers 11 and 24, and waved to Scott and Stiles. They waved back, grabbed Liam, and pointed to where you were sitting. You had a huge smile on your face as you locked eyes with him and waved. He waved back and returned the smile as he noticed the 9 on your shirt that matched his.

He turned away as Coach Finstock called the team over to huddle up. You still had a smile on your face and Malia lightly elbowed you.

"See?"

You nodded.

"Talk to him after the game."

You breathed in and out deeply, "I will."

Throughout the game, you noticed Liam looking at you quite often. And it seemed like he was trying extra hard to score as many points as possible. You finally saw what everyone else did, he liked you, and the feeling was one hundred percent mutual.

After the game, you and the girls walked down to the field and up to your friends. As everyone was talking, Liam said something to you.

He smirked, "I like your shirt."

You smiled and joked, "Thanks, it's my favorite player's jersey."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I like him a lot."

Liam was a little shocked, "You do?"

"Yup."

He smiled at you, "That's good, because I like you a lot too," he took your hands into his, "and I've wanted to do this for a long time."

He pressed his lips to yours and kissed you. You tilted your head to deepen the kiss and basically melted into it. Once you separated, you rested your foreheads together and had smiles plastered on your faces.

You were standing like that for a few seconds until you were interrupted by a collection of coos from your friends.

You looked at them and Stiles spoke, "It's about time, I never thought you guys would figure it out."

You laughed and smiled up at Liam, who was already smiling at you, "Well, we finally did."
