Rainy Days - Scott

It was a rainy Saturday afternoon, and you had been stuck inside Scott's house all day. Sure, it was really nice to spend time with him and not worry about supernatural shenanigans, but you wanted to do something fun with him, and the rain ruined all your plans.

You were sitting on the couch in the living room next to him, watching tv, and you were growing increasingly bored.

You leaned your head all the way back against the back of the couch and sighed loudly.

Scott laughed a little, "Is everything okay (y/n)?"

"I am extremely bored."

"We could watch a movie."

"Ugh no, we've been watching tv all day."

"How about a board game?"

"They're not very exciting."

"Okay, um, maybe we could make cookies?"

You sat up excitedly, "Yeah! Let's do that!"

You jumped off the couch, grabbed Scott's hand, and yanked him into the kitchen.

As you were both getting the necessary ingredients to make cookies out of the cabinets, Scott spoke, "Uh, (y/n)?"

You looked over at him staring into a cabinet, "Yeah?"

He sighed, "We're out of sugar."

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah. I remember my mom said we needed a few things from the grocery store, but I didn't know one of those things was sugar. I'm sorry."

You smiled a little, "That's okay, we'll figure out something else to do."

After you put the last few cookie ingredients back into the cabinets, you looked out the window and just watched the rain as it hit the ground and made puddles throughout the backyard. Then suddenly, you had a great idea and became excited.

"Scott!"

"Yeah?"

"I know what we can do!"

"What?"

"Let's go outside!"

"But it's still raining."

"I know! That's why we should go out there! We can run through it and dance and jump in puddles and just have fun!"

Scott saw how excited you were, so he couldn't help but smile, "Okay, lets go outside then."

You both put your shoes on and then ran into the backyard. Once you were outside, you stood there as the rain was falling down all around you. You put your arms out, closed your eyes, and tilted your head up towards the sky as Scott just watched you admiringly.

After staying like that for a little bit, you grabbed Scott's hands and started dancing with him, even though there was no music. You were just moving together, and you laughed as you both kept slipping on the wet grass and unexpectedly stole kisses from each other.

You were out there for quite a while, and you wanted to stay out for longer, but you started to hear thunder in the distance.

"I think we should probably go inside now (y/n)."

"Yeah, I don't want to get caught out here with thunder and lightning."

You both went inside where you dried off, cleaned up, and put on fresh, comfy clothes. And once you were done with that, you went back into the living room, cuddled up on the couch together, and watched your favorite movie.

As you were sitting there, under the blanket, smushed against Scott, you could not help but just think about how happy you were. You had so much fun out in the rain, and now you were warm, dry, and snuggled up inside, all with Scott. If all rainy days could be like this, you wouldn't mind them at all.
