Chapter 11

Lukes POV
It's been a month since mine and Serena's first date. We'd been on 4 more after our first but we weren't a couple I'd say. The guys are acting like real girls because they kept asking for details on what we'd done, and if we had kissed yet. But we haven't. To be honest I was a coward when it came to that subject. Trust me, I want nothing more then press my lips agains her's but I was to afraid of how'd she react. I mean she's told me she likes and cares for me, and so have I told her but still no kiss. I was interrupted by my phone ringing. Serena, it said on the screen.

"Hi beautiful" I said as I answered.
She giggled "Hi"
"What's up?" I asked.
"Nothing much, I'm going with my dad to your track in minute, I was wondering if you were there then maybe we could take a walk outside the track along the beach?" She said.
"I'm not there but my dad is just about to leave so I can go with him" I answered.
"Sounds good, I'll see you there then" she said and I just knew she smiled behind the phone.
"Can't wait" I said then we hung up.
I went down stairs praying my dad hadn't left yet. When I got down stairs he was putting on his shoes away to leave.
"Wait dad, I'm going with you" I said.
"Serena is coming isn't she?" He asked.
"Why do you always think I only go with you when she's coming?" I asked and he laughed.
"You didn't answer my question" he said ignoring mine.
I pauses for a moment then looked at my feet "Yeah she's coming" I said.
"Put on your shoes and we go" he said and I looked up and gave him a smile.
While in the car dad and I talked about mine and Serena's relationship. I told him I wanted more but I was to scared to do anything. He told me to just stay calm and take everything as it comes. If it's meant to happen it will, just give it time.

Me and my dad had a good relationship, not as good as me and mom but not far away. And I know he likes Serena a whole lot. He's always happy when he meets her, and he's a big fond of Mr. Lamborghini so if this boyfriend/girlfriend thing with Serena happens he's gonna be all for it. Which was good.
He'd never liked the girls I like. I don't know why but I could just tell when he didn't like someone and he didn't act the way he does with other girls I've brought home as he does with Serena. He's always happy, positive and genuine when he meets her, which is 90% at the track where she's been a lot lately with her dad. And so have I, she always called me before she went there and I've been on the spot a few time but sometimes I get a ride with my dad, as I did now.

A few minutes later we were at the track and when we got there they were already there driving. Well Serena was watching her dad drive. I went up to her where she stood. She was dressed in a pair of back ripped skinny jeans, a white looser tank and a red and black flannel tied around her hips.
"Hi" I said as I got closer. She looked at me and gave me as smile.
"Hi, wanna go now or later?" She asked.
"Up to you" I said.
"Let's go now then?" She said.
"Sure" I said.
Before we left she told her dad where she was going and I did the same with my dad then we walked out from the track and down to the beach.

Serenas POV
"How's your day been so far?" I asked after we'd walked in silence for a few minutes.
"Good, better now" he said as he look me right in the eyes and gave me a smile. "Yours?" He continued.
"It's been good, I've been outside with my dad fixing the car all day so it's been really good" I said.
"Sounds fun!" He said.
We decided to stop and sit down for a bit. The sunset was about to happen so we decided to watch it.
We sat down close to each other. He stretched both his hands behind him, one behind me back.
"Can I ask you something?" I said.
"Anything" he replied.
"What are 'we'?" I asked and he looked at me confused. "I mean what are we, like you and me, are we just friends, are we more? You know?" I said.
"Yeah I know. And I don't know. I mean I like you. A lot. More then a lot" he started "and I'd love to make, whatever this is, more official" he continued and I couldn't help but smile. I know we'd only been going on dates for about a month, but I've known him for 5 months, so it's not like I met him yesterday.
"Well.." I said, not really knowing what to say.
He turned his head so he became face to face with mine.
He looked me in the eyes, then at my lips and back up at my eyes. I knew what was coming.
He leaned toward my face and I closed my eyes. Just as his lips were about to meet mine we were interrupted.
"Luke!" Ashton's voice yelled from a few meters away.
I could here Luke mumble the word 'fucking hell' as he turned his head to meet Ashton. I couldn't help but giggle at his swearing.
"Great timing mate, really" he said when Ashton got closer, beside him was Calum.
"Did I interrupt something? He said.
Luke didn't have time to answer before my phone rang making everyone silent.
"Hi dad" I said as I answered.
After talking with him for only about 1 minute we hung up.
"I have to go back to the track, we're leaving to go home" I said.
"Oh, okay, we'll leave then" he replied.
"You can stay here with Ash and Cal if it want" I said giving Ashton and Calum a smile.
"No I'll follow you back so you're safe" he replied as he got up.
"No really it's okay" I said giving him a comforting smile.
"Okay, just text me when you're with your dad okay?" He said and I nodded.
I then gave them all a hug goodbye and turned around to walk away. After walking a few meters I turned around. I met Luke's eyes and he looked at me confused. I knew that there was something I had to do before I left. I didn't care that Ashton and Calum were right there and that they'd witness everything.

I started walking fast back to them. I could feel my adrenalin pumping. I was gonna do it, right there, on the beach, in front of his friends, I was gonna kiss him.
