Star's POV
It was 7:14 a.m. Today is the day, the day me and mom are gonna face Eclipsa and Toffee and hopefully get the wand back, and defeat them once and for all. I quickly got up and went outside to the kitchen to see Aurora helping to set the table for breakfast.
Aurora:
Oh good morning mom!
Me:
Hey Aurora you wake up pretty early
Aurora:
Yeah, well...this is usually the time I go to school so it just became a habit
She said looking a little sad while starting to put down plates. Maybe she misses earth...
Me:
Do you miss earth sweety?
She looked up to me
Aurora:
A little..yes
Then I thought of an idea
Me:
How about we call you're grandma and grandpa diaz and let them visit us here?
Her eyes widened of surprise
Aurora:
Really?! They can visit?
Me:
Yeah, I mean they don't know what happened to your father, though he has been recovering quite well and they can babysit you while me and our grandma go somewhere later
I said looking suspicious....dammit
Aurora:
Are you getting the wand back?
Me:
Uuhhh let me help you with that sweety
I said grabbing the rest of the plates and quickly putting them down
Aurora:
Mom, please don't avoid my question...please
She sounded serious
Me:
(Sigh) you're just like your father...ok yes we are going to try to get the wand back from Eclipsa and Toffee but don't tell anyone else about it and don't go after us if we don't come back ok?
Aurora:
Wait what?! Don't say that! Please. Why can't dad know about it?
Me:
No especially him. I don't want him to worry, he's getting a lot better and I dont want to do anything to stress him out
Aurora:
So what do I tell him while you're gone? What if he starts looking for you?
Me:
Tell him I'll be training with your grandmother somewhere and don't forget, he has drink his medicines every 5 hours
Aurora:
Oh uhh ok
She said sadly while getting a plate of pancakes out the kitchen
Me:
Wow you're father taught you how to bake?
Aurora:
Yeah with grandpa and grandma
Me:
I haven't had this in a while
Aurora:
Oh you haven't?
She said while I stuffed my face with pancakes that I could barely response.
