Chapter 31: Should I?

Star's POV

Its been 3 days...Eclipsa and Toffee took the wand, Aurora woke up, and Marco is currently in a coma from the amount of injuries that hurt his body and brain. I can't eat, drink, go outside, or even face Aurora after what happened. I just hope Marco will wake up soon, he was always there for me when I needed him. As I was sitting next to Marco's bed, thinking about what happened to him, I heard a knock on the door.

Mom:
Star

I got up and opened the door to let her in

Me:
Yeah mom

Mom:
Star I'm concerned about you and Aurora. You have'nt talked to her since she woke up, what's wrong?

She said as I sat back down

Me:
Nothing mom. I'm just not myself lately, I mean Marco is in a coma and the wand is now in Eclipsa's hands thanks to me

Mom:
Oh sweety. Don't blame yourself, you did what you had to do to save Aurora

Me:
I guess so but I just can't stop thinking that this is all my fault. How is she?

Mom:
Aurora?

I nodded

Mom:
She's alright, me and your father had been looking after her the past 3 days and begging us to let her speak to you but we both know your not ready to talk to her yet, especially when Marco is in a coma. But I think you should, so that she would understand what's going on

I sighed. Maybe I should

Me:
Yeah I guess you're right, I should

I stood up slowly then all of a sudden mom pulled me into a hug

Mom:
Oh Star

She sounded like she was abou to cry

Me:
Are you ok mom?

Mom:
No no just happy,(wipes tear) you're all grown up and acting like a mother, and very soon ruling Mewni as queen

I smiled and hugged back. After a few seconds we pulled back

Mom:
Now, go to her

I nodded then walked outside the room and down the hallway to Aurora's room

Aurora's POV

I stared blanky to the ceiling waiting for something to happen that would break my boredom,but...nothing.

Me:
So this is what its like to be bored to death

Then all of a sudden there was a knock on the door

Me:
Uhh come in!

It was mom!

Me:
Mom!

I ran towards her and hugged her tight, she hugged back and began crying

Mom:
Aurora I-I'm sorry, I-I

Me:
It's ok mom

I cut her off

Me:
I'm just glad you're safe

Mom:
But you're father- he-

Me:
I know and I also know that dad is strong, he'll wake up soon

I cut her off again

Mom:
I love you, Aurora

Me:
I love you too mom

We pulled back

Mom:
Aurora, there's something you should know

Me:
Oh..ok about what mom?

Mom:
About...Eclipsa
