I could practically hear the music coming from the party, houses away. From what I could make of the music, it seemed to be a good party, maybe good enough to be the party of the year. I walked up to the front of the house, passing a bunch of guys from the football team play fighting with each other. Some of the cheerleaders were there holding red and blue cups cheering them on. I rolled my eyes and quickly walked through the open front door. The house seemed to be packed with almost every person in the school. As I turned on either side of me, I could see girls and guys making out with each other, people drinking on the side, and others dancing. I said hey to some people as they caught glance of me as I finally made my way to the kitchen. There wasn't many people there as there were a couple of girls getting drinks. I didn't recognize them, but they seemed to be bit older than me. I could only assume that they were from the nearest sorority house. I grabbed a water from underneath the island and took a sip.
I noticed that Jerry was coming over my way. I smiled at the sight of him and walked to meet him halfway. "Hey," I said. "GIIIIIRRRRRLLLL! Where have you been?" Jerry said, taking a sip out of a bottle. "Where's Dave?" I asked. "Oh, he's upstairs. You want me to get him?" Jerry asked. "No, No it's fine. I have to go." pointing over to the door. "Girl, you just got here. You need at least stay and have one drink." giving me his bottle. I shook my head and said, "I can't, really." pushing the bottle back over to him. He frowned and was almost going to say something, when Dave came down the stairs. He pulled into Jerry's ear and Jerry turned to me and said, "Got to go." before heading towards the dance floor
