I ran upstairs and I went to go do my homework. When the maid Mary called me down for dinner, I was finished with it. I ran down the stairs and went straight to the dining room to see that my parents were already there eating, not even waiting for me. I walked over to my chair and they looked at me with smiles across their faces. I gave them a confused look and asked, "What's going on?" They both looked at each other with laughter coming out of their smiles. My dad stopped and said, "The company got the deal!" I reached over and hugged him and then congratulated him. Apparently, my dad and his team were working on getting this other company to sign a contract with them and this contract would bring my dad's company more money. For the rest of dinner I listened to my mom and dad planning what to do with the extra earnings while they ignored me. After dinner, I got ready for bed and was about to text Lexi when she texted first saying that she was sneaking out with Drew and won't be checking her phone for the rest of the night. I decided to read for a while before falling asleep.
