Cece is laying on the hospital bed, being unconscious, but her body is connected to a medical device. Her mother is sitting on a chair, next to her, crying slightly. Cece suddenly flinches and wakes up scared, shaking. Amelie stands up and holds Cece's right hand.
Amelie(says quietly, trying to stop crying): Cece, can you hear me?
Cece(says, shaking badly): Where am I?
Amelie(says, stroking her head): In hospital...we'll go home soon, okay?
Cece(says, breathing heavily): Is...is this you....m...mom? Are you alive? Is dad alive? Am I alive?
Amelie: Yes, sweetie. Everything is alright...don't worry.
Cece(asks afraid): Mom...how old am I?
Amelie(says smiling in order to make Cece relax): You are 17.
Cece(says, tearing up): Have I been sleeping since I was 3 years-old?
Amelie(says calmly): No, Cece. You have been sleeping since last night...everything is alright...
Cece(asks seriously): What happened to me? Be honest, mom.
Amelie: Nothing, Cece. (says stroking her left cheek)
Cece(asks, shaking again): How can you be alive, mom?
Amelie: Shh...calm down, okay?
Cece(says loudly, scared): No! But...but...Jack, Iolanda, Tadaaki, Nestori, Zygmunt....where are they?
Amelie: Um...um...they are...alright...
Cece(says with a shaking voice): So...they are real? Do I live with them?!
Amelie: No, Cece...you live with us, me and your dad...
Cece(says crying): This is not real life, is it? We are all dead, right?
Amelie: No one is dead, my dear. (smiles at her while tearing up)
Cece(says, crying worse): We are all dead, admit it, mom!
Cece passes out again and Amelie starts crying worse.
