"Ano titingnan nyo na lang? Kunin nyo na agad." Charle ordered. Alice got the paper and gave it to Charle. It has a clean white envelope with blue seal, the seal has a mark that looks like 69.
Binuksan ni Charle ang envelope at binasa kung ano man ang nakasulat dito.
"thIs letter is From WKAS itself, we want to congratulate all of YOU,you successfuly finiShed phase one. yoU did veRy well! we are so proud of you, correction, Very proud. we know how hard It is to be there, Very hard, but trust us, wE know what we are Doing, Its for the Very bEst. Be pAtient, Calm and Kind. tIll Next time. remember, WKAS is your friend." pagbabasa ni Charle.
"Can't understand a thing" Alice said in a sing song voice.
"To be honest, wala talagang kwenta itong message, ni hindi nga nagtutugma yung mga sentences." sabi ni Charle.
"Yeah, it's redundant and full of nonesense" sabi ko sa kanila. Yung message ng letter is nonesense, paulit-ulit lang yung sinasabi, pero I know na may kinalaman to sa phase 2. Hindi ito nandito lang for nothing.
This has to be a clue.
"This is a piece of crap!" Sabi ni Alice. At naupo sa sahig at sumandig sa isa sa mga pader don.
"Nakapahinga din "
"Saglit, patingin nga ako." sabi ko at ibinigay naman ito sa akin ni Charle. Umupo kami sa tabi ni Alice at pinagaralan ko ang papel, matapos ang 15 minutes, may napansin ako sa mga letra nito.
"Look, there are capitalized and italic letters here." sabi ko sa kanila. Napatingin naman silang dalawa sa papel.
"Saan?" Tanong ni Alice.
"Ewan? sa mukha ko siguro, check mo. Bobo." Charle said and focused to the letter.
"The capitalized letters read: IF YOU SURVIVE DIVE BACK IN." sabi ko habang itinuturo ang mga letters.
"Let me read the italics." sabi ni Alice at kinuha sa kamay ko ang papel.
"Wait what?" Tanong ni Charle kay Alice na nagfofocus sa letter.
"I said I'll read the italics" paguulit ni Alice sa sinabi nya kanina.
"So marunong ka pala magbasa?" Charle asked, Alice just rolled her eyes and proceeded.
"Pisces" the moment the word left Alice's lips, the walls that surrounds them started moving. Napatayo kaming bigla, sa laki ba naman ng mga pader na to, biglang gumalaw?
It came closer and closer, boxing and locking them, they are completely stuck, a large block was dropped on the last opening. Wala na kaming kawala. Nastuck na kami.
"The hell did you do?" Tanong ni Charle kay Alice.
"I just read the word!" Alice shouted back.
