I'm Back, Baby (T.H.)

1st Person POV

It's been years, years since I have stepped foot onto Marvel's filming locations. Everything has changed so much since I was last here eight years ago as a child in Iron Man 2.

Eight years ago, Marvel needed a teenage actor to portray a girl that Tony grows close to in the movie. The girl became a daughter to him. They did stuff together, worked on the suits, then he made of the mistake of taking her out of the tower.

While the girl was under care of Pepper and Happy, some guy that came up behind my character and shot her. That scene had a lot of crying in it.

But at the end of the movie, people can see Tony in a hospital room with my character laying on the bed. What people really don't know is that whatever is going on in that room is keeping Jennifer Kale, Tony's adopted but not actually adopted daughter, alive.

Fast forward to eight years later, I've been in tons of other movies, because I even thought I wasn't coming back to the MCU universe. I mean, they don't need me anymore since I'm twenty-two now, not fourteen. Then I got a call from my Agent, who was screaming with excitement that Marvel needs me back for Infinity War. Now I'm screaming with excitement.

But there's restrictions to me knowing this. I'm not allowed to post anything on social media. I'm not allowed to tell any of the cast members. And I'm gonna need to get into shape if I'm rejoining the Avengers.

"Thomas," my mother called, but why now, I'm just getting to the good part of the movie. "Thomas Stanley Holland, why are you up this late, it is a school night."

I pause the movie and turn towards her with my pleading eyes. "But Mum, I need to finish the movie, this is very important for me to finish."

"You said that last week when you were watching the same movie. What's so great about Iron Man 2 in the first place?" How dare my Mum just ask that. She crouched down in front of me and took the remote from my hands, turning off the telly right before my eyes. There she goes. "Maybe I'm doing you a favor turning off the movie, you probably would've been bawling your eyes out by the end of it."

My face burns with embarrassment, yeah okay, everyone makes fun of me and my little celebrity crush. "Hey, you were crying too when we watched the movie together."

"I cried when I saw it the first time, a couple months ago. Now when I watch it, I'm totally fine. Your brothers are like that too, they don't cry when Jennifer dies."

I huff, "the only reason I cry is because I know I'll never meet her."

My mother runs her hand through my curls and kisses my forehead. "Thomas, you are a fantastic actor and I hope you do meet her one day. But right now, I need you to go upstairs and go to bed."

After my Agent told me about coming back to the Marvel Universe, I had to find out why exactly. It is not like I don't want to, it's just that I'm dead. And if you're dead there's no coming back.

From what I've found, Jennifer Kale ends up getting superpowers and becomes a sorceress. That's fun. It also says that there's a few encounters with Doctor Strange and that she has a green dragon tattoo on her left arm. I didn't know my character was this badass.
