Dancing, it was what brought Y/N and Tom together. They went to the same dance studio for Hip-Hop, Nifty Feet Dance School, and practically were together to the hip.

At first, Tom was skeptical of joining a dance class with a bunch of girls. But meeting Y/N made him a lot more comfortable, besides she treated him like a friend, not a crush. Let's just say, she can hide her crushes well.

Then a lot of things changed after a few years. Tom got casted in Billy Elliot and left Y/N behind. He became busy, well as busy as a ten year old can get. Always practicing for the show, not coming to classes anymore, and leaving some of his friends behind, including Y/N.

Eventually September 8th, 2008 came around, which was Tom's performance night. After it was over, Y/N made sure she was the loudest to clap for him.

Y/N promised to meet up with Tom in his "star room" to give him flowers. She did her research on flowers, making sure to pick specific ones that mean something to her and hopefully him. But the thing is, he won't know what they mean.

The first flower Y/N picked out, and the biggest and only one, is a white Gardenia. It represents purity and sweetness, and it indicates secret love that Y/N definitely had for Tom. Around the Gardenia were pink Tulips, and it symbolizes perfect love and fame, something that will be taking over Tom's life sooner or later.

Like the saying goes, "If you love something, let it free. If it comes back, it's yours. If it doesn't, it never was." And that stuck with Y/N for years after Tom left, knowing that he may never come back to see Y/N.

But time flies by. Its been almost ten years since Y/N has seen Tom, and Tom has seen
Y/N. In that time, Tom has done so many movies and fantastic things over in America. Most recently Spider-Man: Homecoming, which made Y/N smile because she remembers Tom going on and on about how that he was his favorite superhero.

Y/N on the other hand, is a huge known dancer on Broadway. At the moment, she's preforming as a dancer on the musical, Anastasia. But within the last few years, she has been in The Lion King, Wicked, and for the past few years or so, has been the understudy for Peggy Schuyler on Hamilton.

While being a dancer on all these Broadway shows, Y/N has become very well known around New York, social medias, and across America. She quickly became best friends with Jeremy Jordan, a dancer like herself, but also the star of Newsies as the famous Jack Kelly.

Together they have been on SMASH and hang out whenever they get the chance too, but recently is over in Los Angeles for Supergirl. So being in New York City has been sort of slow, only occasional Skype calls between Y/N and Jermey, and dancing on Anastasia.

Here's the thing, Tom Holland still remembers you. Y/N Y/L/N, his first friend in Hip-Hop classes and his first and still crush. His friends and family knows about his secret crush on the dancing Broadway star, but they live two different lives, in two different places.

And Y/N, she has never forgotten about Tom. On days off, she will sometimes watch his movies and interviews to never forget about him. His smile, his laugh, everything.

Not a week goes by when Y/N thinks about Tom, or Tom thinks about Y/N. Two best friends pulled away from each other to jump start their careers.
