Chapter 60

Hey it's me. First of all I would like to thank each and every one who read and continues to read my stories. I really appreciate it, I never thought I'd reach from thirty something to close to a thousand followers.

A Month Later

6:30 pm

Lucy hummed as she typed lazily on her laptop. She wore a pair of reading glasses as she sat on the chair comfortably.

Her once long blonde hair were cut and reached her shoulders.

The blonde continued to type her work into the device, concentrating.

About three works ago, Lucy joined a class where she could start over her subjects. She decided that it was time she got her life back together.

She was only getting older and she was quite surprised she caught on to the subjects really fast. Maths was a piece of cake for her upcoming exams next month.

She chuckled to herself but flinched when the door to the study room was pushed opened. There revealed Nashi, who wore a little tiara on her head and a light pink frilly dress.

The child smiled as she entered the study room confidently. Lucy couldn't help but smile at her princess who held a plate in her hand.

"Grandma told me to give you this" Nashi said and Lucy looked at the slice of sponge cake covered in blue icing on the plate.

"Oh thanks sweety"

"Why aren't you coming upstairs, it's boring and there is nothing to do" Nashi mumbled with a pout.

"I'm sorry sweety, Mommy's just doing some homework and finishing up things" Lucy explained with a smile.

"Can I help?" Nashi's eyes sparkled and Lucy chuckled ''I'm afraid not, say, why don't you play with Happy the cat" Lucy suggested.

"Happy's asleep and he is getting pretty boring lately" Nashi responded.

"Then go play on your tab" "Grandpa is using it. He said he wanted to do something important on it" Nashi shrugged her shoulders.

Lucy hummed before looking at the laptop again.

"Can we go out on a walk or something?" Nashi asked. When her mother didn't respond, she continued.

"We can go see the movies or go for ice cream. I just don't want to stay in this boring house"

"Mommy's busy sweetheart" Lucy mumbled while typing in some letters.

"Please.." Nashi chose to beg and her mother sighed. "What have I told you about begging?"

"Pretty please..I promise I won't annoy you for the rest of the entire day" Lucy gave her a look.

"An entire day?" Nashi nodded "Make that two days and then we can go for ice cream" "Um.." Nashi rubbed her chin, pondering.

Lucy just smiled as the little girl thought.

Nashi looked at her and said "Let's go out for ice cream and I won't bug you for 47 minutes" she announced. "But you can't even tell time" Lucy laughed.

Nashi looked at her fingers and rose a hand, pointing two fingers. "Uh huh, yes I can" Lucy just pulled her forward and placed a noisy kiss on her forehead.
