Chapter 59

"Stand the fuck back!" Natsu snapped as he pointed his gun at the guys who tried to approach him. Gray stopped and looked around and as for Gajeel, he snapped.

"The hell is wrong with you. The Natsu we know doesn't act this way!" he yelled.

"People change asshole!" Natsu yelled back. "Natsu I may understand your situation but don't take the weak way ou-" he cut Erza off. "Maybe I am weak Erza.." he said softly.

She shook her head in denial and said "You're just confused" "Of what Erza, I'm fully aware of what I'm doing" Natsu said. "You're so dumb Natsu, why kill yourself?" Gray questioned.

"I'd rather do that and not face the consequences in prison. I'll be jailed for life that's a fact" Natsu said.

"And so what, isn't life important to yo-" "Nope" Natsu showed a smile. "You're crazy" Levy said "Welcome to the Dragneels..or whatever the fuck my real last name is"

"Everyone stop it" Erza glared at the guys before facing Natsu "Can we talk?" she asked. He gave her a look and she added "Please.."

"Erza, I understand that you're trying to help me and I appreciate that but please understand what I'm about to say-" she cut him off.

"Natsu do you know how heart breaking it is to see you like this, about to commit suicide" the red hair sniffled "we are friends Natsu, I looked at you as the little brother I never had- you and Gray" she cried.

Jellal walked to her side and gave her a side hug "Are you okay?" he asked.

"Don't just go killing yourself on me.." she cried and Natsu looked down. This gave Gray the chance to run towards Natsu and tackle him to the ground. The males groaned and everyone watched the gun in Natsu's hand.

Natsu pointed it in all directions as Gray held onto his hand. He fired a bullet through the air and the guys ducked. Jellal held Erza close as Gray and Natsu rolled on the dirty ground, tussling.

"Get off me you freak!" "Get him Gra-ah!" a bullet passed through Gajeel's shoulder and the man groaned, holding his left shoulder as he fell to his knees. "Gajeel!" Levy cried.

The small blue hair girl ran to his side and held him. "Oh my gosh"

Gray looked in their direction, ignorant of the punch Natsu threw at him. He groaned as he fell off Natsu and Natsu quickly stood up.

He aimed the gun at Gray who were on the ground, holding his bruised cheek.

"Agh.." Natsu watched as everyone rushed to Gajeel's side as the man held his bloody shoulder. "How could you!" Levy cried.

Natsu panted, looking at Gajeel's shoulder then at the gun in his hand. "I.."

He was lost for words.

Lucy panted as she ran straight through Green Hill's Forest. She wasted no time in coming down to this forest which was only ten minutes away by car where she lived with her parents.

Was Juvia for real? Natsu was stronger than this! Was he for real?!

She ran the fastest she can through the forest and she didn't even knew the direction to go! She pulled out her phone and dialed Juvia's number.

"Come on Juvia pick up pick up.." Lucy groaned.

When she heard a phone ring a distance away, the blonde ran faster. "Juvia!" Lucy called/yelled.

"Gajeel are you okay?" Erza asked the man who groaned as Levy put pressure against his wound. "It just burns a little but I'll be fine.." Gajeel replied with gritted teeth.

Gray looked at Natsu who slowly backed away from them.

"You see..I am a monster Erza.." Erza mumbled and hee eyes widened when she realized what he was about to do.

"Here" he tossed the weapon to Gray who catch it in surprise "shoot me" Natsu said. "You know I'm not going to do that right" Gray said. "Then is either that or I'll jump I swear" Natsu said.

No one didn't knew what to say at that moment and when Natsu turned to jump off the cliff, a voice shouted.

"NATSU!" everyone paused, including Natsu who turned around. A running Lucy emerged from in the bushes and she panted. "Don't...don't you dare jump!"

"Lucy.." Natsu whispered. "Lucy talk some sense into Natsu" Juvia said with red eyes. "He shot Gajeel" Levy cried while hugging the wounded man. "Agh" "I'm sorry"

"What?" Lucy looked at the bloody Gajeel then at Natsu surprised. "Natsu..don't, look I may not know what difficult things you're going through but please.." Lucy's eyes got teary "don't die on me.." she cried.

"I transferred all my money to your account for Nashi, she'll be fine-" "But she needs her father dammit Natsu stop be stubborn for once and listen"

"I already told you this wasn't a happily forever after thing so stop crying!"

Lucy covered her face as she cried more.

"Please Natsu.." "Lucy please don't cry" Natsu mumbled before he took a step forward.

"Listen Lucy I know that things would be tough for you and all but I know you're strong enough to handle it. Let me go" those words being said only made her cry more.

"Pl-lease..Natsu stop it.."

"Thank you everyone for being my friend and actually caring enough for me but I think it's time you let me go" Natsu announced and Erza broke down crying, including Lucy.

"Don't you dare man.." Gray groaned as his eyes got teary and Jellal looked down.

"I love you..especially you Lucy" Natsu said to the blonde who fell on the ground, crying her hearts out. He was by the edge of the cliff now, smiling. "I think it's time I finally meet my parents in death"

They looked confused but Lucy understood what he said. "I.." she said before she stood up "am not watching you fall off that cliff because if you do.." she faced Natsu.

''I'm jumping too" Lucy said.

"Lucy" Levy said "you can't do that" "And if I survive, I am going to beat the shit out of you.." her lips trembled as she said those meaningful words. "Lucy do not do that you have a daughter" Levy said.

"Together..hand in hand" Lucy continued and Natsu's eyebrows furrowed.

And a next thing happened. Everyone heard footsteps approaching and police men emerged from in the bushes, aiming at Natsu. A helicopter approached from above the sky and Natsu looked up.

"Freeze, you are under arrest criminal!" Natsu just smiled at them before he faced Lucy and mouth.

And with that, Lucy watched as her first crush, best friend and her child father fell off the cliff. Everything happened so slow. She slowly stood up and ran towards the cliff and Gray ran after her.

"Luuucccccyyyyyy!!!" her friends screamed.

"Natssuuuu!!!" Lucy went to jump but arms wrapped around her preventing her from doing so.

"Nooo!!!" Lucy cried as Gray backed her away from the edge of the cliff.

"Natsuuuu!!!!" the blonde bawled.
