Dasom was born and raised in England. She'd often make visits to Korea to see her grandparents. Dasom's parents encouraged her to learn to dance from a young age. She went to street dance classes and learnt various styles of dance. For a year she was apart of a popular dance group and performed in London with them. She moved to Korea at 17 and later on auditioned for YG, then being accepted.
