Another shitty day at this shitty place filled with shitty people with shitty mentalities.

At least it would be the last day.

My last day.

I've already decided it.

Marked it down in my calendar weeks ago.

Today was the perfect day, my parents were out of town, which meant that I had the house to myself.

The final bell rang, which signaled for us to leave school.

I looked around the classroom and smiled, knowing that I'd never see these people again on my life, and they'd never see me again either.

I got up from my desk and left the classroom. I reached my locker and opened it.

A piece of paper came tumbling down out of it. I picked it up and opened it.

As if I didn't want to kill myself enough already.

I put my textbooks back in my locker, knowing that I'd never need them again, and slammed it shut.

My phone buzzed and I looked at it.

I got a text from my boyfriend.

Colby: hi baby ❤️

Colby and I started dating 2 years ago, then he graduated and moved out to L.A.

We've kept a pretty good relationship, we text almost everyday.

I texted back.

Me: It was fine.

Colby: what's wrong?

Me: nothing, I'm just tired from school

Colby: awww okay get some rest when you get home

Me: oh believe me I will

Colby: I can't wait to see you baby

Colby was going to fly out here once I graduated in a few weeks to come see me. Then I would fly back to L.A with him.

Me: me too but I have to go bye

I always had this doubt in my mind that Colby didn't actually love me.
