What if Matthew knew I loved him, would things be different?

We have been best friends since 2nd grade, we do everything together and tell each other everything. But I haven't told him about my feelings towards him because I, myself, don't know what those feelings are.

I always deny the fact that there could be something between us, he's like my brother and it would be weird.

Ryan and Johnny think there is something there between Matt and I, but Matt has a girlfriend so why would I figure things out. They always push me towards him to fess up but I'm always speechless.

Matthew has had a girlfriend, Maria, for 11 months. They obviously love each other.

Maria hates me so much, she always tells me to stay away from her Matty, or there will be consequences. Matt doesn't know anything about this, but it's okay because it's funny to me.

Maria can't do anything anyways, she can't kill me or threaten me because she has no dirt on me. I keep myself on the dl... Ryan, Johnny and Matt are the only ones I will tell stuff too. But mostly Matthew is my go to guy.
