I was at a loss for words, I didn't know what to say or do. Sure I've been given this speech a thousand and one times, but never by Angelica. There were times she would look at me disapprovingly if she saw that instead of going outside I was cooped up in my studies working on who knows what. Or that she noticed I've been skipping meals to save more time to work. Angelica saw all this, but never once did she say anything about it. All I could do was nod, and the rest of our afternoon was spent in blissful silence.

We were ushered back to the castle when it started to get dark out. Instead of going back to my studies to finish up on work, I followed Angelica's advice and took a break. I went into the kitchen to grab a whole boatload of snacks and a few drinks. I grabbed my soft sheepskin blanket and headed towards the castle library. Grabbing my reading glasses I sat comfortably in in the cushion couch in the corner with a light hanging overhead. And there I read one of my favorite books Beauty and the Beast. For the first time in a long time I was relaxed and at peace. I hadn't even made it to chapter 5 when I fell into a deep sleep.

That night I dreamt once again about the tall man in the corridor, except this time we weren't there, we were outside in a garden covered in snow. Once again he was facing away from me, and looking out into the distance. The chilling air made me wrap my arms around myself to at least find some source of warmth.

A howl could be heard a short distance away, looking over I took a few steps back in fear. There stood a gigantic wolf, maybe one or two inches taller than me. The beast had midnight color fur with streaks of a navy blue through its fur. His eyes were a bright blue shade with a bit of a sparkle to it. The beast was beautiful, and yet so terrifying. He made a move towards me and I stepped back, as if he realized his mistake, he lowered his head and scooted across the snow in a non threatening way. The tip of his wet nose made contact with my bare feet, and he looked up at me through his thick eyelashes. He wasn't going to hurt me, he just was trying to get to know me. Weird.

I lowered my hand slowly towards his head, and ran my fingers through the beasts soft sleek fur. He pushed his head towards my hand as if welcoming my touch. I was so transfixed on the creature in front of me, I forgot about the man behind me. The wolf stared into my eyes and it was like I was trapped in a trance. Slowly I began to lose consciousness, and I felt my body being shaked. There was a distant voice entering my mind, and then the scene in front of me began to evaporate. The distant voice became more prominent now.

"Queen Ziya wake up please, wake up," the voice said.

I jolted up from my seat to see a young maid with wide eyes.

"I'm sorry to have awaken you up your majesty, I just thought you'd be more comfortable in your own bed instead of a couch," she said sincerely.

"Oh yes, thank you," I said.

I was still in a daze over my dream and I couldn't quite concentrate. I made my way to my bedroom and fell into bed. It was very much more comfortable than the couch. I fell asleep once again, but didn't dream of the mysterious man and the wolf. I tried not to dwell on it too much, but the thought of it sat in the back of my mind eating at my brain. Something was wrong about that dream, more specifically that man.

I chose not to decipher my dreams and fell right back to sleep. But still those light blue eyes floated aimlessly through my mind.
