"Lawless..."

Those dull orbs stared at (Y/N) without much thought. So much life that the (H/C)nette had seen in the vamp was drained completely. It almost pained her to see her Romeo that way. Biting her lip, she forced her wavering gaze at the one man who had stolen her heart from the very beginning.

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to hurt either one of you. I just thought..."

"Just thought what?", Lawless answered harshly. He's not going to make this easy, is he?

"I thought you two were just toying with me...", (Y/N) meekly responded earning a surprised expression from the Servamp. "All my life, Will had taught me to stay from boys my age. He was always afraid I would get hurt... According to him there are guys who would only play with a girl's heart and never take things seriously. I was raised around stuff like that. Of course, I never had believed him until the day I had fallen in love with of my classmates."

At that, Lawless throat had tighten. This caused Greed to try to swallow the lump that began to form in his tracheae, only to fail in the end. (Y/N) had noticed the wary frown Lawless was giving her. However (Y/N) didn't care at the moment. She was going to prove to him how much he means to her either way. Even if she had to tie him up in order for Lawless to stay with her.

"He was a very cool guy. All the girls loved him and he was practically friends with everyone... I always dreamed of him being my prince charming you know... So, I tried everything to get his attention. It took me a whole week before he finally noticed me. Of course, the reaction I got wasn't exactly a positive one. No, far from it... He looked at me differently than he did with other girls. I had no clue at the time what he truly intended to do with me."

Lawless had noticed the pained expression (Y/N) had worn. It pained him to see her so broken. All he wanted to do was hold his little princess, and whisper lovely things into her ears. Yet, the Servamp of greed had let his Juliet continue with her backstory like a polite person in the audience would.

"It was homecoming night... He had asked me out. I waited forever for him to get there... But he never showed. It was only a sick joke to him and his friends. The love of my life never returned my feelings in the slightest. That's why I believed you, and Licht were just playing with me. I've been hurt by so many guys that I don't know if the next guy I will meet actually means it when he says he loves me... I'm sorry, Lawless..."

"It's... Okay, (Y/N)", Lawless grimaced when he noticed the tears starting to fall from the (H/C) haired girl's eyes.

"I hope you don't hate me...", (Y/N) spoke softly while trying to wipe away her tears. She silently gasped when a force had pulled her into a lean chest.

"No... I don't hate you, (Y/N)... I love you... I just wish I had told you sooner. All I ever wanted was to be your Romeo.", Lawless murmured softly in (Y/N)'s (H/C) mop of hair. A pair of thin, elegant arms wrapped around the servamp's neck, sending shivers up his spine. Only then did he feel the soft sweet pair of lips against his. A electric current flashed, and ignited a flame in his once corrupted heart. That flame had died down once the magical kiss ended.

"I love you too, my little Romeo."
