~~~Rivalry~~~

'Dammit! Why is it so hard?!', Lawless mentally screamed as his hands continued to ruffle the golden mop on his head. He squeezed his red eyes shut before deciding what action to take. Licht, Lawless' denpa of an Eve, glared at the mentally unstable servamp with annoyance.

"I don't know what to do-- AGH!!", Lawless grunted while Licht continued to stomp on top of him.

"SHUT UP AND DIE, ROTTEN HEDGEHOG!!", Licht bellowed catching the attention of two (E/C) pools from the crack of the doorway.

"What's wrong with you two?!", (Y/N) screamed nearly dropping the bags containing homemade bentos.

"Hey."

"Uuuuh... you can stop standing on Lawly now... I think you killed him, Licht."

"He's fine. What do you got there?"

Licht's blue pools narrowed at (Y/N). It was strange how the floor became so interesting to the shy teenage girl. (Y/N) gripped the bags cautiously, as if they would fall out of her hands any moment now. Her cheeks burned to the point they were permanently stained red.

"Just some homemade lunches I made..."

   At that moment Lawless' red pools opened, and he scrambled up to wrap the unsuspecting girl in a hug.

"Awww~ for me?! You shouldn't have (N/N)-chan!", Lawless purred before nuzzling his cheek into her own.

"I made some for Licht too."

"He can just go eat in a ditch..."

   Licht glared at his servamp as if he had heard what Lawless had said. Lawless sent a sly smirk towards his eve before tightening his arms around (Y/N). An electrical current flashed between the two. Sensing the tension in the air, (Y/N) decided to break the ice between her two friends.

"So, you guys hungry? Those bentos aren't going to eat themselves?"

'Well, this is awkward...', (Y/N) thought to herself as she watched Lawless and Licht eat in silence. Every once in awhile they would steal glances at the (H/C) haired girl, and every time they would glare at each other in pure competition. (Y/N) had stopped eating and stood up from her seat. Lawless, and Licht gave a puzzled look.

"Hey, where are you going?", Lawless asked shrugging.

"I'm going to go use the restroom. Behave while I'm gone, okay?"

"Okay, Juliet.", Lawless grinned widely at (Y/N) causing her to blush deeply. After (Y/N) had left the room, his cheerful attitude turned sullen. His red pools narrowed menacingly at his delusional master.

"What the hell do you think you're doing, Licht?"

   Licht raised an eyebrow as if he was taunting the vampire to attack him. The black haired male with the white strand of hair showed his cockiness by smirking at the threatening vampire. The self-proclaimed angel could think of several things to set Lawless of Greed on edge. Unfortunately, (Y/N), who in Licht's opinion was another angel just like him, was still two doors down the hallway from the dining area. Licht knew that if he spoke his true plans towards that vile Servamp, there would be a likely probability that talented prodigy would hear. Fortunately, he still had time to say a few words. Those words caused a sting of fear to penetrate Lawless' still beating heart.

"I'm trying to beat you at your own game, rotten hedgehog."
