I was busy reading all these reports in my desk when a knock on my door interrupt me.

"Come in!"

"Hi Sky, it's already noon." Anne, my secretary reminded me.

Saka ko lang naramdaman ang gutom ko.

"Oh yeah thanks Anne!" I dropped the papers I was holding and dialed Dom's office.

"Hey let's go it's lunch time!"

"Ugh I can't. Ang dami ko pang babasahing report!" she's stressed.

"Well that's what you get from dodging your responsibility."

"I know! Don't rub it in my face alright?!"

"Hahahaha. I'll just bring you lunch, that okay?"

"Yes! That's why I love you cousin!"

"I know. Sige tapusin mo na yan and I'll go na rin."

"Bye ingat!"

I hang up and fix myself before going out of my office.

My parents expanded their winery business here. After we graduated, they let us handle it.

I made my way to the parking lot.

Got inside my car and sped off.

I stopped at a nearly jampacked restaurant.

I went inside and greeted by Alex, one of the head waiters "Hi Alex! Where is she?" I asked

"In her office." he smiled.

"Okay thanks." I proceed to her office which is in second floor.

I knocked first before opening her office.

I found her busy arranging the table.

"Sakto ang dating ko ah?"

She spun around "Hi! Sakto talaga. Tara upo na. Nagtext yung isa at parating na rin."

"Si Dom?" she asked as I took my seat.

"She will not joins us for today. Work is eating her up." I looked at the food, hmm it looks delicious.

The door opened "I'm here! I'm not late!" he was yelling.

"God Mico we know and stop yelling!"

"Sorry Ecka!" he scratched the back of his head while getting his seat "Akala ko kasi late na ako."

Erika owns this place. She a Tourism graduate but chose the food service industry. She took up culinary for 6 months and with the help of her parents she now have this.

"You're always late." I said

"She said that I shouldn't be." he points outs to Erika.

Mico here is an Engineer. He's working with the Dream Builders Company.

"Nalilipasan po kasi kami ng gutom dahil sayo!"

"Hep! mag-aaway pa eh. Kumain nalang tayo okay?" pigil ko sa kanila.

We started eating.

"Pakonti tayo ng pakonti ah." komento ni Mico.

"Oo nga eh." silence engulfed us in a few seconds until Erika spoke again "Miss ko na si Sunny."

Parang bigla akong nawalan ng gana.

"Dalawang taon na ang nakakalipas ah." - Mico

"Wala ka pa ring balita?" Erika asked me.
