The rest of the week was fine. We just hung out at my house until Chloe finally left on Friday morning. Cole hadn’t spoken to her since he yelled at her on Sunday night, and it didn't bother me really. She was crazy.

So after the game on Friday night, I went to the locker room of the school we were at and changed into some skinny jeans, a salmon colored t-shirt, and my Sperry's. I left my hair in a high ponytail and pulled my cheer jacket on. I walked out of the locker room with Taylor.

"So what are you doing tonight?" Taylor asked me.

"I'm going to go to Cole's and hang out there for a while," I told her. "How bout you?" I asked her.

"I'm going on a date with this guy from church," she said.

"That's awesome, Taylor! What's his name?" I asked.

    "Cameron," she said.

"Ooh, do you like him?" I asked.

"He's pretty cool. He's cute, too. We hang out in Youth Group all the time, and the other night he asked me out," she said.

"That's so cute!" I said smiling at her. "What are y'all going to do?" I asked.

"I think we're going out to eat," she said.

"That'll be fun! You have to tell me how it went later," I said.

    "I will!" she promised.

We reached the whole team and squad out in the parking lot, and walked over to Chris, Nick, Ashton, Tyler, Lance, and McKenzie.

    "Hey guys!" we said.

    "Hey," everyone said to us.

"Can we leave yet?" Taylor asked.

"I don't know. Coach hasn’t said yet," Nick replied.

"Bekka, do you need a ride?" Taylor asked.

"Well, yeah, but I know you need to get home fast," I said.

"I would give you a ride, but I came with Jessica," McKenzie said.

"You can come with us, Bek!" Chris said.

    "Thanks, Chris!" I said.

"Where you going?" Nick asked with a smirk on his face.

I rolled my eyes. "Cole's house."

He laughed. "That's what I thought!"

"Shut up!" I said, and I lightly punched his arm.

Finally after a few more minutes, coach said we could leave.

"Bye, Taylor!" I said hugging her.

"Bye, Bek! I'll text you later," she said, hugging me back.

"All right!" I said, and I began walking to Chris's truck with him, Nick, Lance, Ashton, and Tyler.

Chris had a big, red, six-seater pick-up truck. It was perfect for his personality and I loved it.

"Are you guys hanging out later or something?" I asked.

"Call of Duty all night long," Chris answered me.

"You know, I've never actually played that game," I said.

"You should play it sometime. It's awesome," Nick said.

"Yeah, except you suck at it," Tyler said.
