Today, the seven of us are going to the Safari Zone here in Fuchsia City. Lyra and
Crystal finally convinced Leaf to get out of bed and enjoy the rest of her vacation. On
Monday, she wouldn't even talk to anyone. We were supposed to go shopping and she
was too heart broken to even do that! You know that there's something wrong with her
when she doesn't want to go spend money on clothes and souvenirs. The rest of us
except for Green went to the local open air markets. Green insisted on staying with her
to comfort her and take care of her. Green really is the best. He is the most thoughtful
person I know. He would make a great dad one day to be honest.

Yesterday, we were all supposed to go surfing. We managed to drag Leaf out of the
hotel, but she didn't join us. She sat in a beach chair and just looked at the waves
crashing onto the shore. She didn't speak, eat, or move. She wasn't even in a swimsuit.
Leaf would never miss an opportunity to show off her body at the beach. She wore a
pair of athletic shorts and an oversized t-shirt, which I'm pretty sure is mine. The rest of
us did surf, but it wasn't the same without her. I could tell was concerned, he would
leave to check in on her. I was getting a little jealous, I wanted him to show me more
attention. I realized right after that thought crossed my mind how much of a selfish
asshole I was.

It's now Wednesday, and we're going to the Safari Zone to see the different types of
Pokémon. The night before, Green insisted on explaining all of the different species and
their natures and how they act alone or in groups. Silver was intrigued, I was bored, and
Gold was mad. Green would make a good old boring professor one day. Good thing
that's what he's planning on doing after his journey.

"Wake up! Wake up! We're leaving in thirty minutes!" Lyra shouted while peeking
her head into our room. Gold threw a pillow at the door towards her like how he has
been doing every morning this week. "Good morning Red." Green groggily said as he
placed a kiss onto my forehead. He slowly got out of bed and headed towards the
bathroom. He's got to stop sleeping shirtless with Gold and Silver in the room. He's
basically asking me to attack him with my hands- but not in an abusive way.

When we were all finished getting ready, we left our room and headed towards the
lobby to meet up with the girls. I hate walking by the couch when we leave the room. I
hate knowing that Paul slept here without any guilt or shame on what he was doing this
whole time. What irritates me even more is that he knowingly knew Platinum was going
to be here at the same time and chose this opportunity to end things with Leaf so
harshly. He left his stuff here as well. Each time I've seen the other boys walk past the
couch, I see a scowl form on their faces. School will suck after this trip. He better not
show his face around any of us. Especially Green, he will beat his face in.

We made it to the Safari Zone after fifteen minutes of wandering around the city
since we got lost. We ended up jumping a fence to get to this damn place. We were
explained the rules and procedures while we were receiving our equipment. "The rules
are very simple! No attacking the Pokémon or stealing a baby from its mother! You are
supposed to compete to see who can catch the most Pokémon, but you may not keep
them. Only feed them the bait we provide you with. We do encourage you to throw a
rock at them, but don't aim at their heads. And most importantly, have fun! Who ever
catches the most Pokémon wins this Safari Ball! Good luck!" The instructor explained
with a beaming smile. I found it ironic that we can't attack the Pokémon but we can
throw a rock at them. Logic I guess.

We entered the gates to start our hunt. "Maybe we should team up and-" Green
started. "Smell ya later!" Crystal shouted as she dashed out into the tall grass. "Well, she
must be excited." Gold said while holding his temples. "Green's right, I think we should
team up." Silver agreed. "But this is a contest to see who catches the most Pokémon!"
Lyra exclaimed. "But what if we get lost, this place is huge." Green argued. "That's why
we should team up." Leaf added. "Maybe we could team up but only take on one
division separately. It shouldn't be too hard to find each other in a small area." Gold
suggested. "He's right, let's do that." Green said. "I call Leafy!" Lyra said while dragging
Leaf to the water division. "Since you two are all lovey dovey, Silver and I will go to the
mountain division." Gold said while grabbing his backpack. "What about Crystal?" I
asked. "She'll be fine. If she gets eaten by an Ursaring or something that's her fault."
Gold said with a shrug. "There aren't any Ursaring at this Safari Zone." Green added.
"Shut up nerd!" Gold shouted while dragging Silver away. "I guess that leaves you and
me." Green said with a smile.
