Chapter 11: Green's Friends

It's now mid July, and I haven't had any bad incidents. I've mostly hung out with Green and even Silver. Last week, Silver invited me to his house to hangout. He had his friends Black and N over. They're pretty cool. N is a little hippyish, but that's alright. Today, Green is having me meet his friends at his house. I need to dress nice. I grabbed a pair
of khaki shorts from my dresser and a purple v-neck shirt. It's pretty funny that I'm
dressing up for his friends, I never dress nice in general. I grabbed my phone and
headed downstairs. I noticed that it was noon and I need to pack lunch or something. I
can't just eat up all of Green's food. I made myself a sandwich and headed towards his
house.

I walked into Green's house to see that his friends weren't over yet. Well shit, I thought
I was keeping everyone waiting. I could've eaten my sandwich at home! "Do you mind if
I eat my sandwich right now?" I asked. "Go ahead, I don't mind." He said with a smile. I
sat down and devoured my delicious sandwich. I was halfway done when we heard a
knock in the door. Three boys walked into the house and greeted Green. "Hey Red, this
is Ruby, Pearl, and Diamond." He explained. Ruby had on a white hat that I thought was his hair at first, Pearl has blonde hair, and Diamond was wearing a red hat. They all
introduced themselves to me and I shook their hands. "Let's go have a MarioKart
tournament!" Pearl shouted. "Totally!" Green said while running up the stairs. While we
were playing, Ruby looked disinterested in the game. He kept getting last place and
couldn't control his kart. "You suck Ruby!" Green shouted while winning first place.
Ruby was a whole lap behind him. "You know that I'm not any good at this game." He
spat. "You'll get better!" Pearl said happily. "I'm hungry." Diamond declared as he took
out a bag of chips from his bag.

We stopped playing MarioKart until we got bored of it. We all went downstairs to watch
a basketball game that was on. "So Red, what's it like dating Green?" Pearl asked.
"Pretty good. He's easy to put up with." I answered while I winked at Green. Green had
a blush on his face when I said that. I must of embarrassed him. Perfect. "Do y'all swim
with Green?" I asked. "Nah, Diamond and I are actors!" Pearl said proudly. "No you
aren't, you two only perform in school plays. Anyone can get those parts." Ruby said
while rolling his eyes. "Shut up!" Pearl shouted. "You're just a dork that designs
costumes!" He added aggressively. "At least I'm good at what I do." Ruby said matter of
factly. "Knock it off you two." Green said as he smacked both of their heads. "He started
it." Pearl grumbled. "I'm still hungry." Diamond said. "You wanna go to a restaurant?" I
suggested. "Sounds good! Let's go." Green said.

The four of us walked to a small restaurant two blocks away. We all ordered and
munched on appetizers. While we were ordering our meals, Diamond ordered the entire
menu. We all stared at him wide eyed as he ordered six entrees. "Leave me alone."
Diamond said as he shoved a breadstick in his mouth. Oh Diamond.

After our dinner, Green's friends headed home. Green told me that he had to help
Professor Oak clean up his lab, again, so I headed home as well. I walked into my house
to see a shit show happening. Leaf had her two friends over and were having a fucking
fashion show. They're sixteen! Sixteen year olds don't have fashion shows! But then
again it's Leaf, and she doesn't give a fuck about anything. "Hey Red! Come join us!"
Crystal said as she dragged me towards their "runway." "We need you to be a model."
Leaf said. "Hell no." I replied while trying to get way from her grip. "But you'll look so
good in this dress!" Leaf exclaimed. "You're skinny enough to wear it! Pleaseee?" Lyra
pleaded. I can't believe I'm doing this, but I rolled my eyes and went into the bathroom
to put on the dress. They'll never stop asking if I don't do it. I feel ridiculous. Now I'm
definitely the stereotypical gay guy. I walked out of the bathroom and was met with
squealing. "You're so cute!" Lyra shouted. "You're rocking it!" Crystal said. "Let's put
makeup on him!" Leaf yelled. Dammit, I knew that should've just left. The girls caked
ten pounds of makeup on my face, and I feel even more ridiculous. I look like I could be
on RuPaul's Drag Race. The girls giggled like idiots while putting it on me. I hate my
life. Crystal even took my picture. I'm killing myself tonight. I stomped up the stairs
while the girls were laughing at the picture. I hate girls. I went to the bathroom to get
out of this god awful dress. I'm taking a shower to get rid of all this makeup. It took me
a good five minutes to scrub it off, but I was eventually clean. I got out of the shower
and got into my bed. I got a text from Green.

"Hey, there's a party this weekend at a girl named Sapphire's house. You wanna come with me?"
"Hell yeah!"
"Cool, tell your sister. She's probably already going, but I don't want her to be left out."
"I will, I'll see you this weekend."

I love how Green cares about my sister being included. She's high maintenance, but we
love her. Green sure is a keeper.
