Chapter 36: Spring Break Bitches

Tomorrow is the first day of my last spring break of all of high school. Me, Green,
and Paul are seniors, so we wanted to do something big, mostly me and Green though,
Paul just kind of goes with the flow. Since we want to go somewhere, so does everyone
else.

     I woke up on this bright and beautiful Saturday morning. Finally, spring break, I'm
so sick of school, it's not even funny. I usually just sleep the entire time or watch Netflix
on my phone. I was snapped out of my daze when my phone started blowing up. We
finally made a group chat since Green finally got a smart phone instead of a flip phone.
What a nerd.

Gold 🌚: SPRING BREAK BITCHES!
Crystal ⭐️: Woohoo!
Silver 🎨: I haven't packed yet.
Lyra 🐱: I told you to yesterday!
Silver 🎨: Oh well.
Gold 🌚: Go pack now!
Leaf 💃🏼: You've ruined everything! We need to meet up in 30 minutes!
Lyra 🐱: I'll be over in 5 minutes to help you.
Silver 🎨: Thanks.
Green 🍆: I have our plane tickets to Fuchsia.
Red 🔥: Yay!
Leaf 💃🏼: I'm packed and ready. And I have our hotel papers.
Gold 🌚: I've been ready for hours!
Green 🍆: I got done 20 minutes ago.
Red 🔥: I haven't gotten out of bed yet.
Crystal ⭐️: Get up Red!
Lyra 🐱: Silver is done packing! We're heading over to Green's house!
Crystal ⭐️: Gold and I leaving too!
Leaf 💃🏼: WHERE'S PAUL!
Paul 🕷: Here. I'm ready to leave.
Leaf 💃🏼: Come over!

     I got off my phone so that I wouldn't be distracted anymore. I got out of bed and took
a shower. After my shower, I put on some clothes. Leaf picked out my clothes for the
whole week, and now I'm putting on "traveling outfit number one." I didn't know that
I needed a specific outfit for traveling. I looked at the time and didn't realize how much
time I had spent in the shower. Leaf is gonna kill me! I need to be at Green's house in
five minutes!

     I literally threw my suitcase down the stairs and scrambled to get my phone and
charger and some other necessities. Leaf started to yell at me to "stop causing such a
ruckus and to get outside." I dashed downstairs and grabbed four doughnuts and bolted
out the house. Luckily Leaf took my suitcase when she heard it fly down the stairs. "I'm
here!" I yelled. "Finally! We've been waiting for you!" Gold said. "You're worse than
Silver!" Lyra exclaimed. Silver rolled his eyes at Lyra. Green had us pile into his
grandfather's lab van and had Daisy drive it to the airport in Viridian. "I bet you all are
excited. I remember my senior spring break, we went to Melemele Island in the Alola
Region!" Daisy said. "Red and I used to live there!" Leaf enthusiastically said. "Oh
really? It's one of my favorite vacation spots!" Daisy added. Leaf and Daisy talked about
our hometown throughout the short ride to the airport. We all scrambled to get our
bags checked in and went through customs which took foreverrrr. It took an hour for us
to just get to our plane terminal and we had to wait another hour for the plane to arrive.
Green and I people watched the entire time. The was a young boy going around showing
off his "top percentage Ratatta." We were all fine until the girls started screaming out of
nowhere. They got up and started running towards some guy with a cape. "Oh my god!
It's Fabulance!!" Crystal screamed. Oh, Fabulance, that makes way more sense. Leaf is
obsessed with him. They all are. Leaf and Crystal actually argue on who likes him more.
The girls harassed the poor man until his security sent them away.

     We boarded our plane and all took our seats. I hate airplanes. They're cramped and
your ears pop the whole time, and the food sucks. They handed us peanuts and pretzels
do eat during the two hour plane ride. This is not going to be enough to satisfy me.

     The ride was incredibly boring. I was in between Green and Silver and they didn't do
anything. Green fell asleep and Silver was listening to his iPod. I couldn't go to sleep or
anything since I had no room or arm rests. I was starting to hate everyone. When we
retrieved our baggage, Leaf called an Uber and had him take us to our hotel. Luckily it is
walking distance from the beach. Leaf booked two suites for us to share. Three girls in
one room, and five boys in the other. It's not fair, but Leaf didn't want to spend money
on a third room. "You're all boys, you can all share a room and like it!" Leaf said. "I call
the couch." Paul said as he tossed his bag onto it. "I'll share with Red." Green said.
"What! I have to share with Silver!?" Gold exclaimed. "Unless you want to share with
Paul, share with Gold." Green said with a smile. "He's not sharing with me." Paul said
with a scowl. "You better not kick, Silver." Gold said as he plopped onto the bed. "Leaf
wants us to meet in the lobby in twenty minutes to go eat dinner. "I guess I'll unpack in
the meantime." I said. "Me too." Silver said.

     We all unpacked our bags while we waiting. I knew if I left my stuff in my suitcase
Leaf would yell at me and unpack it for me, she hates wrinkled clothes. Her main
priority is to look good. We went downstairs and met up with the girls and I was yelled
at for not putting on "dinner outfit number one." I forgot all about it honestly. We
walked to a local diner down the street from the hotel to eat. All I had today was four
doughnuts and some pathetic peanuts on the plane, so I was starving. I noticed a beach
themed restaurant not too far from the diner, so maybe we should go there some time
this week.

The food was great at dinner. I got a basic cheese burger and some french fries. The
girls went over our plans for this week. Tomorrow we are going to the beach. Monday
we are going shopping. Tuesday we are going to learn how to surf. Wednesday we are
going to the safari zone. Thursday we are going snorkeling. Friday we are going to the
beach, again, and on Saturday we are leaving. It sounds fun, I'm just concerned about
how sunburned I will get.
