Ik voel me zo schuldig. Dit was echt nooit mijn bedoeling. Ik doe gewoon alles voor mijn fans. Ik wil haar echt niet kwijt. Ze is alles voor mij. Wat moet ik nu doen? Deze gedachten blijven door mijn hoofd spoken. "Shawn!" Roept m'n maneger. "Je moet op!" Ik neem mijn gitaar en loop richting het podium een 2 uur later kom ik aan mijn laatste liedje. "Ik wil dit lied graag opdragen aan mijn vriendin die ik ontzettend mis" ik begin Roses te zingen. Het publiek gaat uit z'n dak. Na afloop van dit nummer loop ik naar de kleedkamer. Ik gooi alles aan de kant en sla de deur dicht. Ik zak tegen de muur op de grond en schreeuw de longen uit men lijf. Hierna barst ik uit in tranen. Op dit moment komt mijn bodyguart binnen en vraagt of alles oké is. Ik schreeuw "Flikker op, laat me met rust." De bodyguart verlaat de kamer en sinds dat moment is er geen enkel persoon meer langsgekomen behalve de roomservice.

De volgende ochtend
Ik sta op en zie niemand. Geen laura, geen Ian en al zeker geen Andrew. Ik heb het verpest. Ik loop richting de ontbijtzaal. Ik kom binnen en opeens zegt niemand iets meer. Ik ga bij Jeff zitten en krijg een schouderkloppje. Hij kijkt bezorgt en vraagt me hoe het gaat. Ik knik dankbaar en zeg "Niet bepaald goed, mijn huwelijk staat op het spel." Jeff geeft me wat sandwiches en zegt dat ik moet eten. Ik denkt aan Laura en krijg geen hap meer binnen. Ik besluit haar even met rust te laten. Ook al spookt de gedachte dat ik haar kwijt raak elke seconde door mijn hoofd. Ik besluit om even te douchen en alle zorgen van me af te schrobben. Vandaag heb ik een rustdag zonder optredens waar ik best wel blij om ben. Ik ga met men vrienden naar het strand en speel wat op mijn gitaar. Ik zing gewoon wat ik denk en laat mijn gevoelens de vrije loop.
