"Will you give me a second chance Y/N?"
I stayed silent as I felt his grip softly softly tighten. The feeling of his touch was so alluring and as I lifted my head to look to him, he had a pained smile on his face.
"It's ok if you don't wan---"
"No no! It's not that!" I stopped him and continued,
"I... I love you... but... if you can't trust me then what's the point?"
He didn't say anything but as I finished my sentence, he got up and lifted me up from the chair.
My hands were shaking as he pulled my waist closer to his.
"I trust you." He said with no hesitation.
"Prove it."
He scoffed and nodded, "Challenge accepted."
Later that night, he walked me home. We didn't hold hands, neither did we kiss goodbye like we used to.
It was just comfortable silence.
"Goodnight." He said as he smiled and ruffled my hair.
I smiled and waved goodbye,
"Goodnight...."
