32-Surprise

"I love you too."

We sealed our engagement with a kiss. A long passionate kiss that earned catcalls from our guests who turned out to include our friends.

"Honey! Congratulations! I am so happy for the both of you."

"Thank you Mama and Papa."

"Warren, when are you going to introduce me to my future daughter-in-law.?"

"Father! Thank you for coming in such a short notice. This is  Denisse. Denisse, my father Prince Domic Riviera."

Kamukhang kamukha ni Warren ang kaniyang ama, older version lamang ito.

"It's such an honor to meet you Sir."

I tried to shake his hands pero he pulled me into a hug. Kaming dalawa ni Warren.

"You should make lots of babies huh? We need an heir soon."

Napahalakhak naman ng malakas ang fiance ko at ang parents ko habang ako ay namula naman sa pagkahiya.

Fiance. Ang sarap pala sabihin at isipin 'pag totoo. Ganap na ang kaligayahan ko. Sana ay wala nang makahadlang pa sa forever namin.

"Friend! Congrats ha! Natupad na rin ang pantasya mo sa wakas."

"Uy ano ba baka naiintindihan nila."

"Syempre kami ni Rovic naiintindihan namin. Pantasya pala ah."

"Marie naman eh."

"Congratulations on your engagement! Sana mapagtiisan mo pa ng mahaba ang kaibigan namin."

Napangiti na lamang ako at kinamayan sila.

"Sands? Why do you look like you've seen a ghost?"

Nagbulungan kami ni Karen dahil mukhang hindi naman makapagsalita si Sandra.

"Karen? Anyare dito?"

"Paano, ang crush pala niya na neighbor nila since bata pa siya ay ang friend ni Warren."

"Si Marie?"

"Hindi tangek! Iyong isa, the lawyer."

"OMG!"

"Oo. OMG talaga!"

"Grabe nakakaexcite naman ito. Hmmm. Paano natin sisimulan ang matchmaking friend?"

"Huwag mo kong tanungin dahil hindi ako marunong magreto. At bitter pa ako noh wala pa akong lovelife. Hmp!"

"Ito naman. Don't worry, pag naayos na natin ang lovelife ni Sands, ang sa iyo naman ang aayusin namin."

"Jeskelerd. Ngayon pa, wala na po noh. Bakasyon na hindi na kami ulit magkikita ng professor na iyon. Feeling naman niya babalikan ko siya doon."

"We'll see Karen. We'll see."

"Tara na nga. Nakatingin na naman sa iyo ang husband to be mo. Ang lakas talaga ng tama sa iyo. Ano bang gayuma ginamit mo at sobrang nahumaling naman yata."

"Wala ah. Baka destiny lang talaga namin ang isa't isa."

"Naku ayan na papalapit na. Kala mo naman mauubusan."

"Karen, may I borrow my fiancee?"

"Sure. Have fun! Let's go Sands."

"Love, I have something to show you."

"What?"

He whispered huskily. "My room."

"Err. . ."

We secretly made our way to his room on the other side of the castle. Far away from the ballroom and the busy party.  He held me closely while I shiver from the thought that we will be having our own kind of celebration.

When we reached his room, he didn't waste any time. Para siyang sabik na sabik at uhaw na uhaw sa akin. Nanikip ang aking dibdib sa sobrang bilis ng pagtibok nito kasabay ng mga halik niya sa aking mga labi paibaba sa aking leeg.  Ang mapusok na haplos ng kaniyang mga kamay, na tila minememorya ang aking mga kurbada. It was like he was imprinting me with his caress and touch. His kisses made me dizzy.  Hindi ko na nga namalayan na nasa kama na pala kami. He pulled me on top of him. I was fuelled by my desire for him kaya't hindi ko napigilang tapatan ang kaniyang mga hagod. I copied his actions, licking and nipping his lips and skin like he did.

"Love. . . Don't. I can't lose control."

"I am in control." And  I proved my point when I straddled him and kissed him again. This time he let me take the lead. I kissed him and touched him to show him how much I crave for him.

"Denisse. . ."

Then, his phone rang. Nagulat pa ako dahil nasa bulsa niya ito nang tumunog at mag-vibrate.

"Ignore it Love."

I tried to continue what I was doing pero nakakadistract ang incessant ringing. Ayaw tumigil. I kissed him one more time before I shifted and laid down beside him.

"Aaargh! Love? Do we really have to stop for this call?"

"I think so. Go on and answer it."

Pagkasagot niya ng telepono ay bakas ang kaniyang pagkairitable.

"You better make sure this is an emergency or else you're fired!"

Fired agad? Hindi ba pwedeng suspended muna? Pero hindi ko na sinabi kasi mainit na nga ang ulo.

"What!? Set up a meeting with them. I will go back as soon as possible."

"Why? Is there a problem?"

"Two of my biggest clients rejected our renewal bid. I'd really hate to leave you but..."

"Don't explain. I understand. You have a big responsibility as a CEO, I get that. Don't worry about me. Once I finish everything I need to do here, I will fly to Manila to be with you."

He hugged me then kissed the tip of my nose. Favorite niya ginagawa iyon and for me that is the sweetest gesture.

"How did I ever get so lucky? God, I love you so much Denisse!"

"Ang OA  mo. Pero I love you so much too!"

He just smiled. We kissed a little bit more, well more na more pala, before we leave the room to prepare for his return to Manila.
