A/N: Wowza! 500 views already!? This is so awesomtastic I can't even tell you readers how I'm feeling😁 So here is the part you all have probably been waiting for. Just as a heads up 'Zane' is what the Shifter is doing within Zane. Though I'm sure you all can probably figure it out. By the way I realized I made an error in the eariler chapter about the two of the stones. I didn't describe them right, so the correct description is in this chapter. I'm sure you can figure out which stone goes to who😀 I am also working on a new story that I hope to post soon. Thanks for reading, commenting, and voting!😊

'Zane' opened his eyes and stood up.

“Heh, I could get used to this.” ‘Zane’ said as he looked himself over

He then turned his attention to the shadows the were hovering nearby.

“Go on, I have no need of you currently.” ‘Zane’ growled at them

The shadows bowed and then vanished. ‘Zane’ walked back upstairs.

“Want to see your brother and friend so badly?” ‘Zane’ said

‘Zane’ then headed into Echo’s room. He then went over to Echo’s closet, which was bigger than the others since he shared a room. Within it was Echo and Jackson, fast asleep.

“What did you do to them!?” Zane said from within

“Just a really strong cup of sleeping tea. Your lucky I didn't do anything major.” ‘Zane’ sneered aloud

‘Zane’ was about to leave except when he walked past the mirror. He doubled back and looked into it. Zane's hair was now a grey color and his eyes had a red tint to them. His reflection then changed and it showed the true Zane.

“You’ll never win. The path we seek is never a straight line.” Zane said within the mirror

‘Zane’ scoffed.

“Keep believing that. Now I have business to attend to.” ‘Zane’ said with a smirk

‘Zane’ then concentrated and his appearance changed, making him look just like regular Zane. ‘Zane’ smirked and headed down to the bridge. PIXAL then appeared on screen.

“Zane, thank goodness. What happened? I heard alot of banging.” PIXAL asked as Zane came into view.

“Nothing much, and nothing of importance.” ‘Zane’ said with a smirk

“Zane what are yo-” PIXAL said before ‘Zane’ unplugged her drive.

“Can’t have anybody blabbing yet, now can we?” ‘Zane’ said with a twisted smile as he plugged PIXAL into himself

A video message then came on the screen of the bridge. The video played, showing Jay on screen.

“Hey Zane! So we got the stone, but there's a slight complication.” Jay said before he screamed and ducked from a bolt of lightning

“So apparently there is a guardian to the stone. And let's just say it is not happy about us getting it's treasure.” Jay said

“There is a huge dragon guarding it and it does NOT want to talk this through.” Kai screamed in the background

“So, hehe, yeah we should be home in a bit. Hopefully without any company.” Jay said as the video then ended.

‘Zane’ smirked.

“If you two don't shut up, I'll do something you both will regret.” ‘Zane’ growled to himself

There was then serval dragon roars coming from the distance.
