Chapter 7.

"Um, excuse me... You sir have got me fucked up. I'm not even being loud for one and for two, do it look like I'm the only one talking? So if you're gonna come for me come correct please." The whole class busted out into 'ooooooouuhhs'. I didn't even expect myself to go off like that but this stupid ass man has been trying my patience since the first day of school. I done had enough.

"Oh, then you're being disrespectful? You just earned yourself a detention. See me after school."  He can't be serious.

I grabbed my purse and my binder and stood up. "Fuck you and that stupid ass detention. You just mad cause a bitch don't want your old perverted ass." And with that, I walked out the classroom. Fuck I look like sitting in detention just so his nasty eyes can be glued to my body. He got me fucked up.

I walked straight out the building and went to the car. I was gonna text Romeo when I got to the car but him and his friend were already out there. I don't know why him and his bum ass friends ain't never in class.

Romeo

When I walked Breaunna to her class, her teacher was shooting me all types of hateful stares. I don't know what the fuck his problem is because we ain't never ever met. I hugged my lady then she went in her class.

I went back to my car because I didn't feel like going to my first period. I got there and my bro Terrell was out there talking on the phone. When he saw me he shortened his phone call and dapped me off.

"Wassup bro?" he said as we dapped.

"What's popping." I said

We were talking and all of a sudden a girl came walking up to us.

"Hey Romeo." She said with flirty eyes. She was twirling her hair with one finger and popping on a piece of gum.

I nodded my head at her. I don't know this chick but she does look kind of familiar. She was pretty as hell and she had a nice shape.

"Girl, all you see is Romeo standing here?" Terrell clown ass said.

"Well, I didn't come over here for your ass. I came for Romeo."

"Well, watchu want?" I asked.

"Now you're just playing games. You don't remember me?" Um, obviously not bitch.

"I'm Maiya."

"Ew, ugly ass Maiya. How would he notice your ass under all that makeup and that 26 inch Brazilian weave. That shit is laid by the way and your edges is snatched maw." Terrell said. I ain't gone lie that shit was funny because I really didn't notice it was her ass.

This girl Maiya used to have the biggest crush on me in middle school. She was ugly as fuck. She had picky hair, braces, and she wore glasses. Now she bad as fuck. I personally think she still ugly under that makeup and if she take that damn weave out her head. The only difference now is her teeth is straight.

"Fuck you." And she walked off twisting hard as fuck. Guess she wanted a nigga to notice her ass the way she was walking, but I only have eyes for Bre right now.

"Romeo, take me home!" I heard Bre say. I ain't gone lie I got scared as fuck. Her ass supposed to be in class, popping up on a nigga and shit.

"Girl don't you ever in your life come out the cut like that again. I almost popped your ass." Terrell said. She just rolled her eyes at him and got in the car.

I pulled up to Breaunna's house and I noticed another car was parked there. I picked Bre up bridal style and went inside. A woman who Breaunna looked exactly like was sitting on the couch watching tv. I'm guessing it was her mother.

"Who are you walking in my damn house like this and why is my daughter not at school?" She said with attitude.

Goddamn! This woman was feisty. Breaunna was nothing like her.

"Um, I'm Romeo. Bre wasn't feeling too well so I brought her home."

"Oh son. So are you her boyfriend?" Her mother asked.

I woke up in Romeo's arms, and to my mom asking him was he my boyfriend.

"No, mom. We're just close friends. Now put me down Romeo." I said, startling the both of them.

Romeo put me down and went upstairs. My mother came running over to me, about to knock me down.

"Oh, honey, I missed you so much. Sorry I didn't call you." She had an odd stench. It didn't smell too nice. She tried to hug me but I moved away from her.

"Don't be sorry. You weren't even worried about me. I'm pretty sure if you thought about me and actually cared about me you would have made way to check up on me. But I was fine without you here anyway, thanks for asking."

I ran upstairs angrily. I so wanted to get away from this fake ass bitch. I know that's my mom and all, but she gets no respect from me.

"What's wrong, baby?" Romeo asked.

"I just went off on my stupid ass deadbeat ass mom," I said rolling my eyes. I kicked off my shoes and laid across my bed. Romeo did the same.

" That is kind of harsh, don't you think?" He said. "I get that you want her to be here for you but she's just trying to keep a roof over your head, to make sure you live a good life."

I slick rolled my eyes, "You'll never understand from my point of view. It's like she doesn't wanna be here."

"Well, you should talk to her about it." He was right. "But, anyways baby girl, what happened at school earlier? And don't lie to me because I know something is up."

I was scared to tell him. I didn't know what the hell he was going to think of me messing with me teacher in any kind of way.

"Breaunna," he said waving his hand in front of my face. I hadn't even realized I zoned out, I was so deep in thought. "Wassup wit'chu girl."

By now, I was sitting with my legs criss crossed facing him. He held both of my hands in his waiting for me to speak.

"I did something that I'm not proud of and I don't want you to think any less of me," I said, hoping he would feel sympathy for me before I actually told him what I had gotten myself into.

"I'm not tripping off of whatever you did, shawty. You are a beautiful young lady and we have grown to be really close over this short amount of time. Whatever you did was in the past and I'm sure you learned from it. Now whenever you wanna talk to me I'm all ears."
