When Tyler reached his treehouse
Josh was already there
His blue hair was more vibrant
His eyes more dark, almost black
They stared at each other for a short minute
Before Tyler exhaled and tried to calm down from running
He pulled off his backpack
And threw it in a corner
It was dark now
But still he could see
Josh observed him
When he gathered old knives he'd been stealing from his kitchen
And scissors without a child lock
And blades he used to use when he wanted to feel
Tyler put it all on a table
Stacked them up one by one
When he was done with her
She was going to beg to get killed
"Tyler"
Tyler turned around and looked curiously at Josh
"Why are you doing this?"
"Why not?" Tyler asked
Josh sighed
He stepped closer to Tyler
Tyler was carefully watching Josh's tiny steps
Josh gave Tyler a concerned expression
So Tyler had to look away
"Just let me do this. I have to do it. I don't have a choise. The voices are telling me it's too late. I can never live in peace if she's still alive"

She stepped into the treehouse
And lay down in the middle

He picked up the scissors

He forced himself to look at the situation objectively

Maybe she knew she deserved it
Maybe she finally understood that Tyler should not be messed around with

It was now Josh stood up

It was quick, demanding, alert
"Where do you think you're going?"
Josh turned around and watched Tyler
It was a small, small glare
Josh glared at Tyler
Without a word Josh turned around and walked out
Out of the treehouse
"Josh!" Tyler screamed
He wanted to run after
But he couldn't leave Melanie
"Goddamn it, Melanie!" Tyler yelled in a high pitch "See what you did!?"
Melanie could not answer
She was crying
Crying once again
It made Tyler furious
He sprinted up
Decided which sharp thing to use next
"Eenie meenie money moe"
