The school's building was three stories high
Everyone on the schoolyard watched as Tyler climbed up the bicycle shelter
Melanie turned to his friend Josh who looked concerned
"Why aren't you telling him to stop?"
Josh just shook his head and looked down
They both knew that if Tyler decided to impress, he wouldn't give up whatever someone says
Melanie groaned and looked up at Tyler with huge eyes
She was frustrated when he climbed up the steel ladder
He finally reached the roof and climbed over
And so he stood up
Melanie gasped loudly as the children cheered
They cheered loudly
And Tyler raised an arm in victory
Melanie couldn't believe it
What if he fell?
Tyler was the only one that truly mattered to Melanie
She couldn't lose him
And so everyone's cheer got silenced down again
It was an adult's voice
Strong and worried
A Teacher
"Get down from there immediately! And who are you!?"
Melanie started panicking
She felt very uneasy
Almost nauseous
As if it was she who stood there on the roof and not Tyler
Josh went to the building and drummed on the wall, looking up
Hitting it once more, Tyler nodded at him and decided to climb down
He took the final jump down to the safe ground
Children all around Melanie looked at him in respect
The Teacher was confronting him, gently shaking his shoulders
"You're going to the principal!"
Tyler was calm
"Don't be worried. I don't go to this school. You don't have responsibility over me. I'm not your job"
The teacher looked surprised and confused
"But who are you then?"
Tyler let go from her grip and walked away
"I'm the prince of the playground"
Melanie ran as fast as she could away from the crowd
She couldn't take it anymore
Tyler quickly ran after her
Finally they would be alone
