Prologue-
Ever since the destruction of Great Britain and Italy in 3428 by the wars, the United States has been at it's top guard. Citizens are forced to wear anklets with trackers from birth to track age, weight, gender, and location. At the age of 17, young women and young men put a drop of blood in the US chooser, and with the new technology (there's a lot more cool stuff in the future) the machine chooses who you are destined to marry. If not destined, the young man or women is to be sent with the rest of the Extras (in an extra town placed in Germany which was destroyed) to find love on their own. If not able to, you are sent to serve for the Presidents (there are 5), Toppleson, Gretchen, Sawnest, and Fridenand, and Grace.
But what happens if you don't follow your destiny? Beatrice is about to find out. With the help of her best friends Marvel and Justice, Bea is going to learn about choices, love, and character. No matter what the cost.
